mattisr1984
not roleplaying, but donkey kong country returns is a lot of fun (and its new) - as are any of the mario games. theres a lot of really shitty games on the wii though. Guest markovianprocess
Go classic, get on the Virtual Console! Get some Streets of Rage on the go! World of Goo (on the Wiiware section) is great fun.
kirbypuckett
Any of the Mario based games, that's really all I play on my Wii. I think there are now two Resident Evil on rails shooter games that are like old arcade style. I had Umbrella Chronicles which was pretty fun for what it was. I'm sure you can track it down for cheap too.

thebiglebowski
Goldeneye is seriously overrated. I bought a wii just to play it, and right now I am just looking forward to finishing it and moving on to super mario galaxy.
gmoney
Goldeneye is seriously overrated. I bought a wii just to play it, and right now I am just looking forward to finishing it and moving on to super mario galaxy. That's sad to hear - I was hoping to get this for Christmas. kidamnesiac
Goldeneye is seriously overrated.Really? I think it's great. Also it has split screen multiplayer, a feature often left out of this generation's FPS games.
podface
super mario galaxy 1 and 2 (both amazing games) zelda: twilight princess (duh) boom blox (simple and fun puzzle-type game) wario ware (japanese craziness) punch out! super paper mario (best out of the paper mario series) super smash bros brawl hoping to get epic mickey, donkey kong, and 007 this year. roadmonkey
Besides most of the ones mentioned already mentioned: Metroid Trilogy No More Heroes No More Heroes 2 The content of no more heroes may border on inappropriate for an 11 year old BTW
311thrice
Goldeneye is seriously overrated. . It sounds like you're just playing the campaign...I don't really care for the campaign, but the multiplayer is wicked fun.
