fenixtx1624
I know this gets asked a lot. But I just got a Pro-ject Debut III and I need a good vintage receiver. Any Suggestions, Tips, Comments? This is my first real audiophile turntable to don't bash me for being a nube! Hope everyone had a good holiday! enjoytheride
I just ordered the exact same thing with an acrylic plate add on and am in the same position. How easy was installation?
fenixtx1624
Very Simple. I did what this video told me to do. Worked out perfect! took about 5 minutes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MIK9WcSDtU
ajxd
Why do you need a vintage receiver?
fenixtx1624
I don't need one. I would just like one. Personal preference I guess.

burdenx
Buy a Marantz 2230 or higher.
x43x
Buy a Marantz 2230 or higher. The receiver stated above would be nice, as would anything Sansui 6060 and above.
rochambo
I rock a Marantz 2220B. It sounds great and it's loud enough that I don't think I've ever had it at halfway on the volume.
slinch
Check here for amps: http://www.audiogon.com/cgia/fsb.pl?inta&1&ctg&st1 And here for speakers: http://www.audiogon.com/cgia/fsb.pl?spkr&1&ctg&st1 There are literally thousands of options, so it's really hard to suggest something out of the blue. But if I were buying for myself, looking through the first few pages I'd opt for something like: http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatran&1297302068&/Audio-Refinement-Complete http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatran&1298108355&/Audio-Analogue-Primo http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatran&1296527965&/NAD-C325BEE-Integrated-amp http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatran&1298247832&/Jungson-JA-88-E speakers: http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1296214247&/DALI-Ikon-6-Walnut http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1298081208&/Monitor-Audio-Silver-8i-near-m http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1298087546&/Focal-Chorus-714V- http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1298577354&/PSB-Image-T5-Great-imaging--ac Or if you're looking for bookshelf or standmount speakers: http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrmoni&1296498478&/Dali-IKON-1-50%-off-Bookshelf- http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrmoni&1297654330&/Monitor-Audio-Silver-RX1-books http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrmoni&1297706992&/Opera-Consonance-Eric-JR-pract http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrmoni&1298501617&/Dynaudio-Audience-40-Like-New

justinfastbreak
Bought one a few days ago, without the A/C adaptor, and 15V is so hard to find around here. I want to play it and not look at it!
