vardcore
If anyone goofed and missed the long pre-order, drop matt or Geis a note. There is a waiting list and I think we will have a couple left over. You have been edumacated. Do with that what you will.
takeaparturhead5
Hope this isn't too big. The split color is like an opaque yellow and clear green. The five years is like a clear dark brown with some swirl, both turned out gorgeous. The picture doesn't do the clear green justice, but it's really nice. your color of the first five years is really cool... mine is an opaque pumpkin orange color with some black streaks. i'll post a pic if anyone is interested... i wonder how many colors this was pressed on... plasma36
I'd guess it was pressed on all the colors. Any word on what the standard edition of Like Shadows is pressed on?
dm
i´m really excited now what colors i´ll get
takeaparturhead5
now that i've looked at it in the light its sort of darker than a pumpkin, but still pretty orange... kind of like a bright rust.
robobob
That's cool. I'd like to know how many of these were pressed on each color.
vardcore
We did not count TFFY. The ones I saw were like the two pictured here.
lexicondevil
Got mine today. I guess I'm kinda glad I got two copies because one set is warped to shit.
dreameater
my TFFY color is in between the lighter one and the darker one. so unbelievably stoked on both LP's
planetrakis
Ouch. I pray NoIdea put some aside for contingencies.
lexicondevil
Wow, yours is worse than mine, but it's like the post office just fucked these up. I usually don't have any problems with this and my packaging is bent in too, just not as bad. Maybe a "Fragile Do Not Bend" stamp MIGHT help. I always write it on my packages I send. fourfourtwo
I'm kinda nervous. I'm not gonna be home for 2 weeks and am worried my records are gonna come warped or fucked (I am having my mail held) and if I get back and they are, no idea might be out of all the extras.. :/

monsterrod
Yeah, mine was beat up way more than usual. It wasn't warped and it plays fine, but someone in the USPS really beat these up somewhere along the way.

Var, I sent all my info with proof to Geis. Thanks a lot for taking care of this. Another reason why No Idea kicks ass!

vardcore
Someone at USPS is a douche, which is a shame because we have SO FEW issues ordinarily. We have a great relationship with all the local folks, so it had to be at a hub somewhere along the way, like someone dropped a pallet of bowling balls on a cart that had some of these LP mailers in it. (At least it's not like FedEx where they will cut the label off a damaged box and tape it to another one without telling you. When they do that you get a box with loose records rattling around in it; no packing material.) I love the USPS. This is a wee bummer, though. Any issues? Write to: [email protected] Send photos if you can. We will make it right. (Or he and Matt will. Me, I just like fighting boxes.) We all spent WAY too much time making this record to have it end up in your hands bent or pretending to be a taco or some sort of lasagna. swoopdog
Got mine along with the first 5 year record. They both turned out great and sound even better.
vardcore
For anyone that missed out, please sign up for the waiting list: [email protected] Due to this little rash of damaged boxes, we are holding the leftovers a little longer, just to be safe. After that, any remaining copies will go to the waiting list goblins.
arweaverx
Luckily only one corner of my box was bent, and it wasn't even that bad. None of my LPs were warped luckily.
