Guest
Anyone own a pair? I just bought some on a whim off amazon. I'm excited to have some semi-decent cans.

mcstuff
I've heard great things about the SR60s as introductory audiophile cans, so I'd think that the SR80s are quite nice.
Dillhole
I have a pair of SR125i's and I absolutely love them. I see no reason why you wouldn't love a set of SR80's. It's very likely you just bought the last pair of headphones you will ever own.
Derek™
These things [supposedly] sound killer. Like, phenomenal. The one and only gripe I've read, albeit a minor one, is that they leak a lot of sound. If you're in a quiet environment, it's like wearing a mini-speaker on either side of your head. But that's the price to pay for pristine audio quality... and I think it's a fair trade-off. Hope you enjoy them, man. I'd love to grab a pair someday. Guest
Yeah, I was a bit skeptical about the open-air design, but all the reviews praised them so I went for it. I'm hoping I don't regret it.
mcstuff
With open headphones, you'll obviously leak more sound, and they won't have as impactful bass. But you will gain a broadened soundstage.

xxmartinxx
I had a pair. They sounded good, but I found them a bit uncomfortable for extended listening.
Guest
I was only able to listen to a few songs with them yesterday since the power went out, but they sounded pretty amazing. It's going to take a bit of getting used to how they feel and sound, since I've always owned closed ear headphones.
impact
I was initially going to get these.. I tried my friend's pair and thought they felt sorta "cheap". I ended up getting the ATH-M50s

I ended up getting the ATH-M50s And I couldn't be happier, given my budget. Thomas²; I've read that the more recent SRi models have significantly comfier ear pads... compared to models from a year ago. I'm glad to hear that you're digging the sound of them, and I imagine they'll only sound and feel much better over time.
akross
Once I get some money I plan on buying a pair of 60s or 80s, not sure which.
