metersandmiles
How many LPs does each cube of an Expedit hold? I'm sure this is probably in the storage thread somewhere, but that is a very long thread.

mhansel411
People who have trouble putting these together are idiots. Literally took me less than 30 minutes by myself(although only a 2x4) but it's the same principle.
dethrock
Yeah I just recently got a 2x2 as well and it took me about 25 minutes or so. Super easy.
danthemjfan23
i would venture to guess that if you were good at putting together Legos as a kid, putting together an expedit would be a breeze. if you weren't, you'll probably need to call a friend. RustyShackelford
how do you guys store your records in a cube thats not totally full? maybe one thats like 3/4 full? do you just split them in half and set each half of the records up against one side of the cube or do you keep them all stacked on one side... does that make sense? travis
First I got a 4x4 and that one was a pain in the ass, then got a 2x4 and that was really easy.
RustyShackelford
im about to need to graduate to a 2x2, right now i use a 1x2 and a storage thing from target... i figure it would probably be a better investment to get a 4x4 or something bigger because my collection is only going to grow and ill be better off not having to buy another expedit every year. and i could use the extra cubes to put my 7 inches in, which would be convenient. heres a picture of my set up at the moment, id like some ideas/criticism
hipsterasfolk
$15 at Target! Only regret is that it does not hold my 10"s, but then again I only have about 4 of them

Used these over and over but would keep getting corner dings and such. Expedit is best option
bgdesign
I have 2 4X4s and love them. Need a third one but have to make a trip to Chicago to get it. Every other unit has overhang.
hipsterasfolk
Yea, I wanted to get an Expedit but I only have a little over 300 LPs/7"s/10"s. I'll wait till my collection is a little more worthy before I make a hike out to PA.

I have two 4x4s also, one is completely full and the other is on it's way. It's a nice unit for other stuff too though. Books, knick knacks etc.

I've had a 5x5 for 6 years (has been through 3 moves already) and i'd say there's 8-10 cubes that have other things in them besides records. Nope unless you want to hike out together and split the gas! PS I got some sweet Ke$ha playlists!
madtired
an hour and a half is far? got to be some other shit to do in the area if so.. I always go to ikea to buy one thing and end up buying all this other weird shit I never knew I needed.. every time.
mindovermatter
My IKEA is 2 1/2 hours away. I just make a day of it and do some record shopping around the state while I'm at it.
mcm1610
I need to find a permanent home before I buy an Expedit, which I'll have to get while on a hockey tournament because there isn't one around here. Just Canada, and I think Pittsburgh, maybe Rochester?
