seafoamgreen
Alligator Gun - onehundredpercentfreakhttp://www.divshare.com/download/4190947-027 AG was a power-pop/punk band based out of Milwaukee; they were around from 1991-1997 or thereabouts. This is their second album; it features Scott Schoenbeck on bass (pre-the Promise Ring/Dashboard Confessional). Mark Dawursk (pre-Hey Mercedes) was also in this band for a spell, but not on this record in particular. It was produced by Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton at the Blasting Room. You can buy this album -- all their albums, really -- used for pennies through amazon stores, half.com, eBay, etc. They actually reunited for one show last winter: http://www.myspace.com/alligatorgun This will be the first of many post I make regarding this thread, since I just found it and am amazed that I missed it. But first thing's first: way to not fucking tell me that Alligator Gun reunited, Scott.

roboticempire
I posted this in it's own thread but it seems like it would make more sense here: HISSING CHOIR - First Show (3 songs) http://www.archive.org/details/HissingChoir-FirstSho wlive3Songs 1. untitled 2. untitled 3. untitled they may have had titles but I never knew them if they did. this is 3 songs from their first show, which was nearly 5 years ago now in Baltimore, MD in late 2003. JR from Pig Destroyer on vocals mike and chris taylor from pg99/pygmy lush on guitar and bass nathan from crestfallen on guitar jake from triac/jesus of nazareth on drums definitely should appeal to fans of SWANS and raw recordings... seafoamgreen
Jawbox - 1990 demo Pretty awesome early Jawbox stuff here. I had no idea it existed until about 4 years ago when I found this on whatever filesharing network was actually working at that time. It's a cassette rip and, like most Jawbox demo material, the vocals are sub-par. But there are a couple of otherwise unreleased tracks here, plus alternate versions of stuff from Grippe (their first LP). Well worth the download if you're a fan. 1. Tools & Chrome 2. Bullet Park 3. Beneath the Wheel 4. Footbinder 5. Consolation 6. Paint Out the Light 7. Motherlode 8. Something Must Break Link: http://www.divshare.com/download/4841613-eb5 UPLOADED! partysmasher
Would anyone be interested in the Poison The Well studio demos that were leaked a while before Versions came out? I've not listened to it since the record was released but im pretty sure none of them are on the record. So really, they're jams, not demos.
