Snapcase - Designs For Automotion bonus disc

http://www.divshare.com/download/6214215-7ab

This disc came with early copies of Designs for Automotion and features an exclusive studio track, two live tracks and three remixes. The remixes are pretty meh (they're fucking remixes, what do you expect?) and the quality of the live tracks is average. The studio track "Less Than Convenient" is pretty solid, however.

I've checked everywhere online that I can think of for these tracks and was unable to find them, so these should be okay. Enjoy.

TRACK LISTING

1. Less Than Convenient (previously unreleased)

2. Caboose (live 11.13.99 Pittsburgh, PA)

3. Zombie Prescription (live 11.13.99 Pittsburgh, PA)

4. Disconnector (disconnected mix by Casey Rice)

5. Bleeding Orange (mantis mix by Shaun Lopez)

6. Typecast Modulator (big beat mix by Pumice T)

All Ages EP

http://www.divshare.com/download/6204758-014

This EP came with (I wanna say) an issue of AMP a few years back. I can't find any information on this band at all, but the music is solid -- melodic hardcore that reminds me of Marathon.

TRACK LISTING:

1. The Same Inside

2. Your Future's A Daydream Away

3. What's Become Of Us

4. Dirty

5. One Night

6. Sexism Disguised As Tradition

i have the EP that came with the AMP mag, great music. here is their myspace page

Awesome; Too bad the last login on that account is 12/4/2007. Good find nonetheless!

i have a 160kbps download of this song if it's desired. i don't know if that's better quality than your version or not.

The Aquabats - Various rarities and unreleased stuff

http://www.mediafire.com/?ddzibdzdmmz

Shortly after Floating Eye came out, The Aquabats put up a bunch of b-sides and demos from the album for download on their site. I've never seen these anywhere since. A lot of this stuff is pretty obscure. There's some other stuff thrown in there that was never released such as the intro/outro to Welcome To Eltingville (a cartoon), an instrumental version of Sandyface (from an old Horchata Records sampler), and a demo version of Todd-1 In Space Mountainland that I think is infinitely better than the official version.

Track listing:

Cold Raw Gold

Eltingville Closing

Eltingville Opening

Green Ghost

Grey Man

I Love the Monster

Lonely Horseman

Love Without Anger

Mucho Gusto

Return of the British Knight

Sandyface (Instrumental)

Sequence Erase (Instrumental)

Ska Ba

Todd-1 In Space Mountainland (Demo)

thanks, i was missing some of these. does anyone have the other RICE CAPADES demo "lovers of loving love". i can't find it anywhere. anyways here's another rare track:

Giant Robot Birdhead (Early Instumental Demo)

Ultrafink - Carbotrolly

http://www.mediafire.com/?azlbmy0m1lu

Okay, so none of you have ever heard of this band, but they were an absolutely incredible pop-punk/rock band from St. Louis. This was their only full-length, I believe; it came out in 96/97. It's one of my all-time favorites, and I think had they slugged it out for a few more years, they could've easily been quite huge (seriously, download this record, listen to some of their more radio-friendly songs like "Shooting Star" and tell me that wouldn't have blown up).

Anyway, the most interesting tidbit of information about Ultrafink is some of the band moved to Los Angeles upon their breakup and started none other than butt-rock douchebags Bullets N Octane. Currently, their drummer (Ty Smith, who was also in Guttermouth) and their bassist (Brent Claswon) are in BNO.

Oh, the best part is, Ultrafink's old guitarist, Chuck, found me on myspace and wrote me the following:

Anyway, I've written far too much. But I urge all of you to download this, because it's really an unheard pop-punk gem.

Recently discovered this while going through my library, thanks.

It's so good, right?? More people need to download this.

The February Stars Union - Kicked Out Spokes EP

This was the debut EP by one of my favorite local bands growing up in Rockford, Illinois. Their sound is equivalent to that of early Rainer Maria (or, for a more recent comparison, Bridge And Tunnel sound just like this band, only this band did it over a decade ago).

The first song on this EP is a really big jam; the other three, not so much. But if anyone downloads it and digs it, I can upload their split CD with Evergreen Trio (another local fave from back in the day) -- their songs on that thing are just massive. Check it out!
