brandon260
I will definitely be picking up the Mustard variant. I can't wait to hear an acoustic version of Coats.
youmightbewrong
Fuck, MDAM just posted on Facebook that the Mustard variant is /200. I really, really wanted the honey colored one to be the most limited version. I've been lucky to never have had a bad dealing with P&P, hopefully my lucky streak will continue. GradedOnACurve
P+P only really does it right when its not a pre-order. We shall see.

kylekrische
Grabbed a clock. I live in Canada, shipping is always trash, didn't even notice when I ordered that's how bad it usually is.

youmightbewrong
Anyone received shipping confirmation yet? I got an email from P&P that said they should be shipping between Thanksgiving and early next week.
jerseydave77
Anyone listen to this yet? I really like MDAM, love EMM as an album as well, but this is a butchering of their own music. I like when bands re-imagine their own music but this should have been left alone judging by the end result. Curious what others think of it. xspinzx
I got a chance to listen to this and I wasn't very pleased with it. I love MDAM but this record was meh on my part. I was able to pick up the battery clock version so when it comes in the mail I will be putting it up for sale/trades if anyone is interested. GradedOnACurve
Streaming this now. Not bad, but they really really really butchered Unknowingly Strong. The rest of the EP is going to have to grow on me more. I'll wait till the vinyl actually shows up to peoples doorsteps before ordering. thebear
I imagine people who think Make Do & Mend is the only decent band out of 'The Wave' will most likely enjoy this, and people who love The Wave and think La Dispute is the second coming will probably say things like 'butchered' and 'brah'. Don't quite know what "The Wave" is that your talking about but I for one can't stand La Dispute and love Make Do And Mend so I stand by my its butchered statement because for some reason is really tough to listen to that version Unknowingly Strong. The Wave is what people called La Dispute, Touche Amore, Pianos Become The Teeth, Make Do & Mend, Defeater...other bands in that group. Make Do & Mend was the only band I liked out of them (Touche isn't horrendous) and I liked MD&M because they didn't sound like the rest of The Wave...that stuff irritates me. I think that's why the acoustic re-imaginings don't bother me, I liked the more 'mellowness' to MD&M to begin with.

jerseydave77
Not a LD fan but I really enjoy MDAM. I gave this a second listen and feel I wasted my time. The last couple songs are ok but overall this is a terrible record in my opinion. Glad others are digging it and taking something away where I'm not - music does that. brandon260
From P+P's facebook: For those who ordered Make Do And Mend's Part and Parcel EP or any of the new Black Friday records: We were supposed to see these records in on Wednesday, but they were delayed and we're getting them today, in a couple of hours. So if you did that preorder or bought the new BF records, your order will ship early next week! Thanks for your patience.
