They're really pretty records speaking from an aesthetic point. Musically, I don't think he's any different from other folks who've done horrendous things and still produced great art or music. At this point, his music has a really eerie quality to it which is no doubt shaded by the knowledge of the things he's done, but I can see how that's enjoyable on some level to folks.
