riddle350
My roommate just started this. It's looking awesome! can't wait to start playing.
bybombasticbomb
I'm overhauling my system so I can play this. But the 7 or so hours I've been able to put in when my shit is working has been beautiful. I put way too much of my life into Oblivion, and so Syrim will follow. Jesus Nord ftw. With badass face tats and scars. Real gnarly.

BuzzersonKillwell
Anyone else having trouble at the beginning just exploring the world. I'm about 8 to 10 hours in (DAMN! YOU! REAL! LIFE!), and admittedly not sticking to the main quest, but I keep getting my ass beat my bears and sabre cats. I did whup that bitch with the Nettlebane though. Fuck her. SweetJerryWine
Been doing some Daedric quests. The one where you don't even realize it's Daedric is awesome.
darronibaloney
I got handed a quest today that sounded like something for Sheogorath. Some crazy guy gave me a hip bone and told me to find his master. I haven't set out for it yet though. Is that the one or am I reading too much into it? SweetJerryWine
That's not the one, the one I'm talking about it Sanguine's. I won't spoil anything. I'm really excited for Sheogorath's, though, and if that's his then it sounds interesting.
kforkevin777
Ugh, bears and sabre cats kicks ass. So do ice trolls. I hate them. I can't decide which side I wanna join on the civil war.
Shitty Rambo
I got a random note delivered to me that was just a black hand print and the words "We know." Dark Brotherhood I assume.

It might not even be Sheogorath's quest, just the guy that gave me the quest reminded me of some of the people from the Shivering Isles. I got a random note delivered to me that was just a black hand print and the words "We know." Dark Brotherhood I assume. Yes, sir. I'm only a few quests in on the Dark Brotherhood quest line, but I loved the faction in Oblivion and I'm glad they brought it back.
kforkevin777
I don't think I'm gonna join the Dark Brotherhood with this guy. Might destroy them instead. He's not a good guy type, but I don't think he'd fit in there. Buti like killing too much, so killing them would be more fun.
Shitty Rambo
Yes! I love the sketchy guilds in all Bethesda games. I want to keep my character neutral but since karma isn't a big deal here like it is in Fallout I've been pretty awful behind closed doors. BuzzersonKillwell
The shady guild missions are some of the best ones! Karma is for real life. Skyrim is more like porn. A place for unspeakable acts with no rules or consequences. At least how I play it.
SweetJerryWine
Seeing Alduin in normal gameplay is pretty damn intimidating. Bethesda really delivered.

kforkevin777
I screwed up my character cuz level scaling kicked my ass. >.< So now I have to play on noob difficulty until I level up in combat or EVERYTHING kills me.

What does that mean? I have a feeling I did something similar. I die a lot.
darronibaloney
Basically, the game levels up with you, so if you get to level fifteen by grinding non-combat skills, all of the enemies you fight will also be level fifteen, but with more rounded out stats. kforkevin777
I may have just had my most unproductive week this year, skyrim excluded You and me both. And yes, if you power level your smithing/alchemy/enchating, but don't spend time on combat skills and armor perks, enemies ravage you with no hesitation. If you're not too far into the game, restart. If you don't wanna restart, just turn your difficulty down until you can go and level your combat and armor. Shitty Rambo
^That sucks but is somewhat fair. If you're not to far in the game you can easily respec your character. Try visiting Torbjorn Shatter-Shield in Windhelm, you can pay him for 2-handed weapon training (just levels you up), or visit Vilkas in Whiterun.
