morfiend
Anybody ever buy or sell from musicstack? I was just talked out of creating a sellers account there by the owner. I filled out the application, he accepted me and then sent me an email saying that I'll probably only sell 1 item a month and offered me a refund of the membership fee. I told him I've had success selling on every website I've tried but he still wondered why I would even bother and what my motivation was. I respect his honesty but wow, how are you going to grow your business this way by talking people out of joining? Oh well, I guess discogs and ebay will have no problems taking my money. One Hundred Fifty-Two
Try record ranch the owner comes and posts every three months for people to use the site, but I see the same records for sale from 2 years ago.
bgdesign
I use Musicstack all the time. Love it.
Guest
Bought some records there in the past, but nothing recently. Still check there for rarer things, but most of the time i use Discogs or sell/trade here.
nothingnatural
I've got some fantastic deals on hard to find items on Musicstack. I used to check it all the time but not so much lately. This thread served as a reminder for me to start checking that site again. I haven't sold on there so I have no input on that.
donlombardo
Bought three records on there, all from the same user though. Found some gems.
amylovesvinyl
Does anyone here know about or use GEMM? There are no sign-up fees for sellers and if you're a customer they got a guarantee so you can't lose your purchase money. I was a little surprised they weren't mentioned in this thread... cadetapplesauce
GEMM is just like the disorganized version of musicstack. a lot of sellers are registered on both sites, i've noticed. i want to say GEMM has more transaction fees, though (i think??, it's been awhile since i've bought from there). the sites work about the same though. i just ordered something from musicstack on friday night. still waiting on an invoice, though... albert
i bought a failure 7" from music stack and it worked out just fine. Nice which one?
kriss
I've never purchased anything off of GEMM and that's mainly due to the insanely high prices that most of the sellers put on stuff that can be easily found for a fraction elsewhere. Did some searches through Musicstack and a lot of the stuff I prefer can't be found on there. Staying with Discogs.
donlombardo
I just got the Atom & Package 7" "Behold..." from musicstack. 3.5 dollars. I didn't know it was so readily available still.
