I'm interested in having a good time that's all. Outside of Classics Of Love and Horrace Pinker there isn't a band there that I want to see that I haven't already seen at least 5 times. If I see them again sweet, if not oh well I'll check out some bands I don't know and maybe I'll see someone I really like.

No sense in being a negative bitch about something you have no control over. If you really want to see a band buy a damn ticket. Otherwise quit your bitching.

NXNE runs the exact same way and it's one of the biggest and most successful festivals in north america. You can't expect a promoter to pull together all of these bands and just charge people $40 to see them all.

If anyone is looking for something to do during the day my girlfriend found this little slice of amazingness

its pretty awesome but buy your tickets i advance.

also since the festival is there, getting drunk an afternoon at the foufoune electrique's terasse is pretty cool compared to the bars ive seen elsewhere.

Thursday night my girlfriend and I were walking around exploring the city and we came across the protest twice. Honestly it was a bit breath taking to see up close and personal.

Last night we just saw it on tv at one of the venues. It's all happening in and around the res where the majority of people are staying.

Forgot to add. We didn't have a problem getting into any show last night with just our wristbands. Caught all 8 bands we wanted to see. I did hear a lot of people complaining that some of the venues were "sold out" and they weren't letting any one else in. Alos heard people complaining that they showed up to the Hot Water Music show and told if they wanted to get in they had to pay $30 because they weren't taking any more wristbands. Which is sort of bullshit.

One thing that did piss me off, is one of the venues said the PBR was for bands only. YEt PBR is a damn sponsor of the festival. That was stupid as hell.
