I did it real drunk at like one in the morning and wasn't even super bummed the next day about it. You should really try it, I'll probably do another. I have to pay for a host, than I give the RSS feed to iTunes and than it's available through their database. I'm not able to fast forward other podcasts (CNET's podcasts, for example) with iTunes unless I download them. Have you tried other podcatchers? iTunes is actually a pretty shitty media player in general. You can fast forward when using the CyberEars player and with BeyondPod(Android), so it's not the feed.
