degenerex
Anybody found a decent price on this box for us Americans?
timsimmons
The Blur21 site now links US visitors to only the blur store for the box sets. So maybe they will update to some Amazon links in a few days. It may just be Amazon hasn't gotten around to putting them in their system yet. almightyseancore
i got so excited when is saw the individual pressings, but what the fuck is up with those prices? i went to pick up modern life, and parklife, but $30?! why!!!!

sciencekiller
Anybody found a decent price on this box for us Americans? I just ordered the box from Amazon.co.uk. The quoted price was 158GBP, but when I added it to my cart it went in at 130GBP and I was charged 3 for shipping. Converted to CAD, the box is $215. Beats the $320 they want on Amazon.ca. Provided the Canadian dollar doesn't tank and I get crushed on duty, I doubt I find it cheaper. Then again, it looks like I could just buy them all separately and pay the same price (if not less). timsimmons
When I go all the way the through checkout mine comes to 130 as well. The CD box is 100. Pretty great deals.
degenerex
Anybody know if Amazon UK is similar to US where you get charged the lowest price between your preorder and the time it ships? (I'm guessing yes, but I've been wrong before)

I was just adding it to my cart to see the shipping quote and compare to ordering with free shipping from Amazon.ca, and when I added it and went to checkout, it was showing as 130. And yes, they will give you the lowest price if the pre-order price drops. Plus you can cancel between now and July 30 when it is scheduled to ship if you find it cheaper. There really isn't a reason not to pre-order right now, as it is currently the best price I've found.
manicdogbert
it goes down to GBP 130 because of VAT (the UK sales tax). They remove VAT (which is 15%) when it's being sold overseas.
degenerex
Yeah I went for it - I figure I can always cancel if I find it cheaper somewhere else. Why wouldn't they throw that Superman 7" in with the vinyl box set as well?

To get record collectors to buy both sets most likely.

cadetapplesauce
it comes out to £134.74 after shipping through the UK site. unless there's something different in the conversion, that should be about $218, is that right? if not, i'll pay the two bucks and get it a few days sooner. in the end, it's still $200+ for a box set. timsimmons
Hopefully the US CD Box price comes down. Its way cheaper to get it imported.
