A few buying options here, digital, CD, white 200 gram double vinyl, and a pretty rad looking 3D viewing box (limited to 500). I ordered the vinyl. Stupid pricey at 36 bucks (after shipping to the USA) but 200 gram gatefold and all that so I bit. I'm actually torn. It seems like an interesting approach to a deluxe edition; not just entirely about a unique color and number. But, is 20+g and 45rpm enough to justify nearly double the price? It sounds like the counter-culture, or alter-ego music of three decades all rolled into one. The Ziggy Stardust of the 70s, the Goth of the 80s, and the Grunge of the 90s all mashed together. It feels as if they went out of their way to remove all hooks, all riffs - any part you could sing along to - out of the song and like they chose it as the single as a challenge to the listener.
