She has taken quite a liking to enjoying a bit of Mint with her food now, though. UPDATE: I've had a quite a few PMs today, and just got around to finishing all of them up (I hope I haven't missed anyone). We took out all the shelving/Wheel so she wouldnt be tempted to jump them, or run. Shes taking her medicine well (probably because its flavored, so that hasn't been a problem), and her bone should start fusing together by Friday of next week (at least thats what the vet said), and after that, should be close to 8 weeks before she starts putting weight on that leg because it won't be hurting as much. Nothing is stopping her spirit though, she's letting us hand dust her cause she shouldn't be rolling around recklessly, and she's eating and drinking normally. All good signs! I remember years ago when I was in middle school my teacher brought her chinchilla in and she was so soft. She showed us a container she kept the ash in and she would roll like crazy in it. Yeah! They also chew on Lava blocks to grind their teeth down. I guess its just instinct to go crazy in the ash. As soon as we brought it out, she knew to just roll around!
