Guest thankyoubasedgod
Starts in two hours, sweet. I heard all game developers are done working on current gen games once 2013 hits and all of the next gen systems will be dropping around holiday 2013. I don't know whether to give a shit or not cuz I don't care for modern video games too much. Only title I dig is The Elder Scrolls. I used to love Fable, but that shit got ruined so bad. I'm hoping the Wii U will be nice, I hated the Wii. I want a new Animal Crossing.
rodeojones
I remember when I used to wait ALL year long for the month AFTER E3 so I could buy the Gamepro and EGM that had all the coverage. Times have changed.
BuzzersonKillwell
I'm most interested to see if Sony announces any type of cloud gaming thing. I prefer Xbox, but that kind of industry disruption will be fun to watch. I'm guessing a lot of game announcements and Xbox will focus on what streaming and app options they have lined up. Consoles are actually in a great spot to become the workhorse of the living room they've been dreaming about being for years.

Rip
I've never played or really been a fan of the Splinter Cell games, but wow, the new one looks so cool.
BuzzersonKillwell
I've never played or really been a fan of the Splinter Cell games, but wow, the new one looks so cool. I was just coming here to post the same thing. Seems like they are leveraging some Assassins Creed tech, in a good way.
BuzzersonKillwell
Every studio really seems to be pushing the Kinect voice integration. Is it just me or is anyone else not too keen on shouting at the TV as a control mechanism? What do you guys think?
pickrunner18
I don't like kinect for the same reason I don't like the wii. I just want to sit and not move. I'm not 10 years old
pickrunner18
and did they spell Judgement wrong on the new gears?
midnightcity
Thoughts so far: Halo 4 - This franchise kinda needs to take a break for a while. it feels generic and very recycled. Splinter Cell: Blacklist - I'm confused. Is this a sequel or prequel or reboot? Where is Michael Ironside. The Kinect integration is cool. Fable 4 - who cares. Gears of War Judgement - more of the same. I could live without this. Also, Polygon just broke news that Counter Strike: Global Offensive is coming Aug 31 to PC, 360 and PS3 Also, Tony Hawk HD is coming July 11. midnightcity
also, I liked this Forza Game better when it was called Need for Speed.
BuzzersonKillwell
Can't believe it took 5 games to hear some dubstep in a trailer. Over under on Nintendo or Sony Keynotes?
Rip
Yeah, not a fan of Kinect and all the voice command shit either. And I wasn't paying enough attention to whether or not "Judgement" was spelled right or not. All I know is that the new trailer for Gears looked amazing. pickrunner18
I'll always love halo, but all they need to do is put h2 back online and everyone will be happy. I don't care about a new game. and who gives a shit about bing? BuzzersonKillwell
midnightcity
and who gives a shit about bing? i think its getting to a point where its really easy to use for people who aren't gamers. i could totally see people appreciating the better search. gamers, I doubt, ever use that. BuzzersonKillwell
This shit right here is what I want. More streaming content. Not the sexiest, but easily the biggest news for the system.

pickrunner18
I wonder what all of this does for their sales? I still can't see buying an xbox if the primary use for it wasn't going to be gaming
Guest thankyoubasedgod
"Cuz we believe here at Nike.. If you have a body.. You're an athlete" That shit's deep bruh, I'm sold.
BuzzersonKillwell
I wonder what all of this does for their sales? I still can't see buying an xbox if the primary use for it wasn't going to be gaming Maybe not yet. I still see it as a gaming device, but as the content library and functionality grows the price point actually gets pretty attractive compared to cable bill, TiVO or whatever. Standard TV model is out the way out. Microsoft (and Sony) are well positioned. I just think Microsoft's infrastructure is a little ahead.
