steviewonderbread
Isn't the 2nd press of the ugly organ on green easy to get, or is the black 1st press easier to find?
gravitylovesdrunks
green's not easy to find.
scottheisel
I have both of those 7"s but am not in a rush to sell them; I will take an offer via PM, though (no trades).
scottheisel
Also, I'm assuming "Polar" is The Icebreaker and "Destruction" is supposed to be The Disruption, otherwise I have no idea what records you're talking about.
claytin269
polar is polar.....destruction might be disruption...
scottheisel
Dude, Cursive doesn't have a 7-inch called "Polar." These are the ones listed on their website: DOROTHY AT FORTY CD Single / 7" CURSIVE/SMALL BROWN BIKE SPLIT 7" THE ICEBREAKER 7" (Saddle Creek) THE DISRUPTION 7" EP (Saddle Creek) SUCKER AND DRY 7" (Zero Hour)
steviewonderbread
green's not easy to find. Really? I found a copy maybe a year ago and noticed on the saddle creek ribbon sticker it said colored vinyl. I would have thought as a second press green was easier to find. gravitylovesdrunks
not in my experiences anyway...black's still freely available.

claytin269
i saw a 7" called polar by cursive on ebay a few months back....it had a different cover than icebreaker, so i dont know...
seafoamgreen
I just got a cope of Storms to upgrade my previous copy... and the sleeve is yellowed. If you want that one we can talk. I've also got a spare copy of The Icebreaker (aka "Polar") and The Good Life's "Heartbroke" if you're into them as well. Is the Want section of yuor list all for trade? gravitylovesdrunks
if he doesn't want that copy of storms, i'd like to possibly work out a dealio. how bad is your yellowed copy?
seafoamgreen
The LP is EX+. The sleeve is most definitely yellowed... the "220 gram vinyl!" sticker on front looks like it was printed on yellow paper instead of white. I'll take a picture tomorrow next to my first copy and get it up here for anyone who's interested.
impact
so i just got.. 20 ppd for The Disruption 7". good deal?
seafoamgreen
This record's fluctuated in price over the past few years. Here's my data: Disruption 7" Yellow translucent (white sleeve, no photo) $52.00, $36.00 Black $26.00, $70.00, $50.00, $72.00, $40.00, $28.00, $45.00, $40.00, $32.00, $17.00 I bought the two cheapest ones on that list (all these are from eBay) so it looks like you could've gotten a bit more. But I haven't tracked this record much the past year or so since I have 2 copies.
seafoamgreen
So I finally got around to taking pictures of my two copies of "The Storms of Early Summer." Note the color of the sticker on the left... it's easier to tell how yellow the cover is from that. If anyone's interested in this yellow mo fo, let me know soon, as the guy I bought it from has offered a refund.
skumbucket
jeez, someone's a smoker i guess...
seafoamgreen
Based on the pattern of it, I'm going to guess he had a milk crate with some records in it sitting by the window. Only the top is really bad. Wouldn't help if he was a smoker, though. Years ago when I was into (don't judge) vintage Star Wars toys, all the sealed figures that came from Australia (and many from Europe) had yellowed bubbles (the plastic covering on the card that holds the figure). Something to do with the combination of plastic used and quality of the air over there. Since these all came from Germany, it's possible that those are a factor here as well. But the smart money's on the theory that this chode didn't take care of his shit.
gravitylovesdrunks
i'd take the yellowed copy probably. what's the price (ppd to toronto, canada)?
scotterson
im interested as well if the other deals fall through...
seafoamgreen
Trying to do a trade for this one, as I could just get my money back from the seller. PM me with an offer and we can talk. Thanks!
