vinylfilmaholic
When I saw Young Statues and The Swellers with Wonder Years and Early November a couple months ago I bought YS' LP and The Swellers 7" and I had both bands sign them, well YS is basically only one dude on album but yeah I got him to sign it. Really cool guy. I believe the guitar player of The Swellers is who signed mine. LOL, not sure but it's all good. :-)
theshredhi
Those that get your records signed, does it have to be the whole band? Or just whoever you see is good enough. I've never been into getting records signed tho so I know nothing about it,.
ddoherty
I've bought a couple that were signed in the past but mainly just to listen to. I have a large memorabilia collection that I always like adding to but it's the interaction that makes it worth while. Meeting Alkaline Trio and getting a pic from Skiba makes it so much better than buying it offline. It's kind of a bummer to get 3/5 or 2/4 the band to sign it but its still cool all the same. But if it were me, I wouldn't bother someone who was obviously busy with other things.
vinylhutz
I have one signed record. I wanted a copy and the only one on ebay was a signed copy. Got it fairly cheap as well.

trifornais
I'd get them signed for personal reasons, not to try make a profit out of selling them. For example, two bands I love are touring together in a few weeks and my band has the opportunity to play with them. I have a test press for one of the bands so I'd love to get that signed by the members to make it a little more special to myself.
