Guest Posted April 27, 2013 Share Posted April 27, 2013 You can turn off the camera and mute the mic individually, I know because I was on camera for a few minutes with no one able to hear me before I realized I had my mic muted in the chat window. Who cares though, do what you want, type, talk, webcam, it's all good. Don't be shy though. It's not that bad. at work we have to Skype with clients in other states sometimes, so I got used to it.
