skanknsmile
So...how hard is this to come by, and does it exist?
sherlock
i've seen a couple "the shape of punk to come"s go for over $70 on ebay.
j4m35
someone just got one on DF for like, $63.
dante3000
Shape of Punk to come typically goes for around $100. I don't really know how many were pressed (as is standard with Epitaph vinyl). They also have Everlasting. I think songs to fan the flames was pressed too, very limited though. It was all before the vinyl boom.

mynameisdan
maybe two years ago, interpunk had them back in stock, and i ordered a copy. but (apparently) they sold out before the button you can click turned unclickable, so my copy sat backordered for a while until they just gave me a refund. i don't know if that meant a repress happened or they just found more. I've seen Shape of punk, songs to fan the flame, everlasting (on orange), and this just might be the truth on ebay at some point in my refused on vinyl-less life. thesupervillain
I bought The Shape Of Punk To Come about 3 or 4 years ago in a local store for 12 bucks. I saw a few copies go through there actually. I've never spun it because I keep hearing it sounds like shit on vinyl, and I'd rather listen to my 5.1 Surround DVD Audio copy when I feel like listening to it. They definitely added some stuff for that DVD. I'm pretty sure they used different vocal and guitar takes in some of the songs, and Bruitist Pome #5 is completely different, but that's why I like it. I've listened to that album so many times and all the changes make it seem a little more fresh and new again.
recordsyeah
"shape of punk to come" with grey labels is the first press.
danalive
i got shape of punk to come from hot topic like 5 years ago for pretty cheap.
vacumecleanerman
Shape Of Punk To Come is over 55 minutes in length. Isnt that longer than what can fit on an LP. There you go, repress it on a 2 LP set, one blue and one orange on 180 Gram. It's definetaly a good enough record. I REALLY think New Noise Theology should get "The Vinyl Treatment" on dark green marble! I was going to suggest that if i got a VC Unit. But i didnt. So someone else should.... salparadise
i say leave the refused vinyl discography where it is. i wish people would leave this band alone, haha. i mean that in the most innocent way, too.
ronniethebear
I bought my copy of "The Shape..." years ago, new/sealed for around $14. I rarely listen to it because it does sound pretty bad indeed. Also, as a huge fan of this record, I think the 5.1 surround mixes are pretty lame.
counterfiction
got mine about 5 years ago at Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis for $10. They had four copies of it and I'm kicking myself now for not picking up all of them. god, I love that record.
davehoffa
At the store I work in, we had like three copies come through very quickly about a year ago. I bought one of them, along with Flames on blue. It's weird how records will just pop up like that and then disappear.
