    I never paid over retail for any mwy record, even the nice and blue part 2 7". I sold it for a lot though, but still have all the albums. They are not going anywhere. Gotta love being around when orders go up, but they weren't as popular back then.

    Damn still feeling anxious about almost passing out. I'm supposed to go to 2 shows this weekend with some girl, but the thought of driving far is freaking me out... Stupid brain. Oh well, Talons' Friday and Portugal. The Man Saturday.

    It is not worth it with that "receiver" and speakers. You won't be able to tell any noticeable difference. Enjoy what you have now, since that table won't ruin records like some "entry level" tables and save for a better amp and speakers.

    Yeah, it's standard gram (mine is kinda warped too) but on the heavier side of standard.

    I got my copy today. The cover still has the text embossed on it, but it's only noticeable when at certain angles. Hopefully the shop finished up my table so soon I can spin it.

    Time to start looking for a bike then. Worst I can ride it around my neighborhood, and to my parents/friends while I get used to it again.

    Akron's actually becoming super bike friendly, and a ton of people ride. It's obviously not on a Portland level though. I have not ridden a bike in 15-16 years, so I am worried how I'd fair on a 6 mile ride. Not sure I want to show up to work all sweaty and nasty. And there is no way I'd be able to do it at 4 am either, that'd be insane.

    Do you ride your bike to work? I've been debating getting a bike and doing it, but I'm not sure how I'd fair.

    Good luck Jason. I had a CAT scan with contrast dye once, it felt weird for a few seconds but was not different otherwise. A 24 hour test sounds horrible boring, but hopefully it'll help them get you feeling better soon!

    Does it hum only on the phono input channel? Do you have another source to try (CD, tape, PC, etc?) It's very possible the power surged damaged the amp somehow.

    I just caught the end then, since that's all it was. Tre flip and I think a 540 double flip. Dude is insane. It makes me want to rewatch the Rodney Mullen Daewon Song videos.
