There are a million places around there, none of which I'd really call "good" in the traditional sense... it's really touristy around there. But they should all have good happy hour specials beforehand. If you're looking for a dive or a quieter/less TGI Friday-ish place, walk west away from Broadway towards 8th and 9th Ave. You'll find someplace there to hang out for a while.
