It was a special cover, probably the retail variant.

If someone could pick one up for me, that'd be cool.

Band is great. Snagged a splatter.
-
I'll sell mine for 30.

Yeah really wish this was just instrumental

Consistent with Bushcraft, super thick gatefold, great sound.

Just got back from Vacation Vinyl in Los Angeles, they already have copies of this and they're putting them out tomorrow. Dude let me open it to listen and it was on oxblood.
ALSO if you buy 2 Southern Lord releases you get free entry to the Baptists/Excel/Obliterations/Xibalba show at Los Globos on October 15th.

I get his point to an extent. More importantly, he definitely could have made his point in a less childish way. The guy who was stage-diving was obviously someone who was pretty into Joyce Manor, and to bring a fan up on stage and humiliate him like that is obnoxious.
Seriously. The poor guy was just in the moment. He wasn't head walking, he wasn't crowd killing. He was legitimately just trying to have fun to a band he probably really likes. To then have that band STOP PLAYING and drag you by the shirt back to the stage to publicly ridicule you for doing something that in your mind was showing support for them? Unreal. That dude was even cool about it after the fact and shook his hand and walked calmly off stage, and probably felt like shit the rest of the night for enjoying himself.
I definitely get that they want to protect their fans but god damn, that was painful to watch.

Everything under $10 is stuff I have already and the stuff I kinda want is all $16-$20 still :/

^I'll take them if he backs out.

Man I have the worst blue balls

I think Connect The Dots is my favorite song they've ever put out

Show last night was insane. Don't miss this tour.

Verizon is giving anyone who upgrades from a previous iPhone to the 6 for free
http://money.cnn.com/2014/09/09/technology/mobile/verizon-iphone-6/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
Lemme get this straight- I can get a 200 dollar gift card for my iPhone 5S instead of selling it on Craigs List for $400 in cash? Count me in!

I don't know why anyone would want a much bigger phone anyway. Do I need to start carrying a purse? No, thanks.
As far as Apple pay and stuff like that, with the way shit gets hacked nowadays, why would I want to put all my info/money on my phone/the internet/cloud.
Well it's apparently super secure. We'll see if that claim holds up. But think about it, if your wallet gets stolen you have to cancel all your cards. If your phone gets stolen they have to cut off your fingerprint or know your code to use it. I just like the idea of eventually never having to carry a wallet.

I love the resale value too.
This is a big part of why I eventually settled with iPhone. Used to be a HUGE Android guy, constantly trading and buying and reselling phones on Craigs List desperately trying to keep up with the curve. It was such a load off my shoulders to buy the iPhone and be able to sell it for only 50 bucks less than I paid for it a whole year later.
Even though the iPhone is getting less and less innovative every year, the features that it does introduce just work.
Apple Pay is great and I'm happy Apple is introducing that payment system because I truly believe they're the only company that can. But it will take a while to become the norm. And in the meantime, asking a cashier if they have Apple Pay and then trying to explain it to them is just as cumbersome as pulling out a credit card and swiping. Unless you eat exclusively at McDonalds and Subway, lol.
So all in all I won't be getting the iPhone 6. I don't need the beefed up specs because my iPhone runs smoothly enough as it is to accomplish everything I need it to, and I actually prefer the 5S screen size anyway.

Check out Nick from Baptists too guys, they have an album out on Southern Lord. For me he's the deal draw here.
Agreed. That band came out of nowhere and put out one of my top 10 albums of last year, largely due to the drum work.

I like the look and it's great not having to deal with the felt mat, but I can't say I experienced a sound improvement like some claim. Static is definitely less but not non-existent. It also introduced a new problem in that using the anti-static brush on some LP's that aren't 100% flat cause the record to stop rotating while the platter continues to rotate... it makes me cringe to think there could be something grinding into the underside of the record when that happens. For the record (no pun intended) it happens when just holding the brush on the vinyl (not adding pressure).
Just put the slipmat back on to clean the record real quick?

Part of me wants to try and get that tape at Vacation Vinyl but I imagine there's a pretty good chance it's gone already.

If anyone is seeing them on this tour and wouldn't mind grabbing me a pin, i'd gladly pay you for doing so.
I'm seeing them Wednesday I believe. I'll grab ya one.

Some Stranger is so good. Guess I'll have to check this out too.

I'm getting a dagger and rose on my shin pretty soon here, and the one thing that's been lingering in my mind is how it would look covered on hair.
Pretty much exactly like this
