Oh that's funny, I was only looking at the cover - the reason you see it with a different cover typically, is because based on the cover picture you provided it's simply in the incorrect sleeve.

It seems like it is what it says it is - a promo copy of a Percy Faith 7" provided by Columbia. They just would have shipped the 7" in that printed paper sleeve, sans cover, which is why you would see it in a different cover.

Whelp, I take it back a bit - apparently it *can* be worse if you ordered one of the test pressings, as the label decided to ship them in inner-fucking-sleeves only (hey, they were lined, so they got the going for them) - mine arrived fine, but it' basically like someone just threw a couple records in a fedex envelope (with a flimsy piece of cardboard - nice touch) and said, "fuck it, that's good enough."

NICE on the signed copies. My copy should be waiting on my doorstep when I get home. The small amount of stuff/reviews I've seen for this make me very excited for it.

Oh cool, glad someone grabbed that! You *should* be fine, since it's pretty tough to actually damage the vinyl itself in shipping. And since test presses just ship in generic sleeves, any damage you suffer will be pretty easily fixable, since you can just replace the sleeves.

Well that's disappointing. Both for you, and because mine hasn't shown up yet. I know it's a first world problem, but goddamn I hate poorly packaged records and shipping damage.

Truthfully, I don't think anyone will know until they play the upcoming show. If someone is going to that they'll be able to report back. It does appear like green is gone, but they could have intentionally held some back for the tour.

I might have missed it in the past 6 pages of posts, but I think it was only the Southern Lord Facebook that said they'd have them at shows - and not as an announcement, more of a "I would guess they'll have them at their upcoming shows" kind of way. Seeing as they've been popping up pre-tour, I would guess they will have them at their shows only if they don't sell out of them prior. Again, I could missed something though, and I'm mostly just inferring here.

A quick note on the black vinyl version. Aquarius is still thinking they might get copies. I asked Andee when I was checking with him on some other stock things. His response: "we're waiting on a repress of the sleep and it likely will only be black vinyl. we don't know when it will be availble or how many copies we'll be able to get (we'll try to get as may as we can), but feel free to send anyone our way to be put on a waiting list to be notified when the records arrive." So, if you're still looking for a copy, it probably doesn't hurt to see what they can do for you. They don't always come through, but they've had a pretty good success rate for me over the years.
