  1. Per Andee at AQ the band is out of the green as well. Hopefully someone going to an upcoming show says otherwise, but these might be gone for now. (didn't SL say they would have copies?)
  2. Ah, sucks. The comments off to the side on the Sleep site last night made it seem like there had been an issue with it even adding to the cart. I already got one of the green ones, so I didn't go any farther than checking to see if that issue had been resolved.

  4. Is the black really sold out? It's letting me add one to my cart.
  5. They (AQ) did say they might get the black as well. If you want one of those in addition to the green you might just email them again.
  6. You saw that the black is up on the Sleep store, right? http://sleep.merchtable.com/music/the-clarity-etched-vinyl-12-single#.U9vZU-NdWSo Don't want you thinking you missed out completely (just on the green unfortunately).
  7. Oh, I would blast the shit out of Ordinary World as well. In fact, I don't really want a pressing of the wedding album; what I really want is a single sided 12" that alternates Come Undone and Ordinary World as many times as can be fit on that side. Neither of which is my favorite Duran Duran song. My favorite Duran Duran song is the Jimmy Eat World cover of New Religion. I in no way feel bad or weird about that.
  8. UP NOW - GOGOGOGOGO http://www.mondotees.com/view_category.asp?cat=12
  9. I was completely unaware of it, but holy shit he did! I don't remember anything of it either. There's a CD of it - this is kind on interesting, I pulled it off the Phillip Glass site: "Since the release of the Candyman films there has been interest from the fans for a soundtrack album and, indeed there have been a number of bootlegs and cover versions offered for sale on the internet and at record fairs. Initially, Philip Glass' ambivalence about the films and the fact that there wasn't enough music to merit a whole CD prevented a release, but with the inclusion of the Candyman II material and the obvious interest in this music, there seemed be an appropriate rationale for bringing this music to the fans. The recordings found on this CD are the original score recordings for the films Candyman and the sequel, Candyman II: Farewell to the Flesh. The cues have been remixed to better suit home stereo playback. The score for Candyman II: Farewell to the Flesh was built from the original Candyman cues plus the extra music represented on this disk." It's interesting how little music was actually in the films. So it seems like any pressing would have to be both films to justify a full LP. It being a Glass score strikes me as kind of a big deal though.
  10. Yes, huge thanks to bwintroub, his post is why I emailed them as well!
  11. I've gone beyond "out of space" and moved into "rearranging my entire room to find a place for just a few more records." Come take some of this off my hands - more stuff is due to show up tomorrow!
  12. And their address is [email protected] Was exchanging emails with Andee (who works at AQ), and he referenced that they do have them, and that they might be getting more once they are out but they "might be black" - so not sure how limited the green ones are, or which will end up on SL. All with a grain of salt of course. (and they are 16.98 through AQ)
  13. Last copy of the Test Presses is up: http://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Streets-A-Grand-Dont-Come-For-Free/175640517?ev=bp_titl Who knows for how long. Went up 1 pound. Gone
  14. Especially considering that (in addition to being bare-bones, as previously stated) the sleeve is one of the flimsiest I own; it's barely better than a paper bag. I held out an entire year to finally snag a $20 copy (shipping included) off Discogs.
  15. If you're in the US it's better, because you're not dealing with currency conversion and shipping since they have a US distribution option available for pre-order now. But if you're in the UK, the UK prices are actually a bit higher than prior EW releases on RA. I always bought from RA, so I'm not sure what the prices were on the prior releases when they did make it stateside, so I'm not sure how those compare.
  16. Awesome! Excited for this. One of my favorites as well!
  17. Anybody else have their paypal charge reverse on their account for this? It looks (on my account) like they charged it as "authorization" and now they've reversed it (giving my account a balance). It's odd, I've never seen that done through Paypal before.
