I think it was 22 extra. As far as inserts go, the original just has a red piece of paper with lyrics on it. You could make your own and it'd probably be better quality haha

Does anyone know why these are shipping from Matador? That's probably why there's such a difference between those getting theirs and not getting theirs. Got mine 4 days ago. This record really clicked for me today and I ended up listening to it about 10 times. To me the long songs (Ecce, Eating Disorder, In A Small Body, Tried to Quit Smoking) are better than anything they've previously done while the shorter songs do a good enough job tying them together. Goddamn Eating Disorder is such a great track.

According to popsike $150 is about the average for a real copy (lotsa fake ones on there). That's still surprisingly low for a 20+ year old /1000 debut release from a band as great as Pavement.

Got this randomly in the mail today. Came straight from Matador for some reason (I guess they're the XL distro) and I was silently hoping I'd won some contest that I forgot about since I hadn't ordered anything from them lately haha. The red is opaque and the sleeve is gatefold and made from the same material as The Monitor. This is a very handsome package for $13. I'm actually enjoying the album quite a bit after a few listens... other than The Electric Man. I agree with jetsfan though, this album sounds like they're distancing themselves from The Monitor quite intentionally. Making an album like that twice would probably cut 10 years off Stickles life haha.
