  1. I don't know about a Holy Mountain album, but he did do the art for the split 7" with Black Tusk. He's just finished the art for the new Kylesa LP, but I've not seen it yet.
  2. You wouldn't have gotten a confirmation email, its only for US shipments. International is shipping on wednesday, so you should have it in just over a week.
  3. the holy who? Haha. Be nice. And Taco Bus was the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt... Hooowheeeee!
  4. Indeed it does. And keep your eyes out for the split 7" with The Holy Mountain that will be out on No Idea any day. After that there's another split 7" coming up (I won't announce it, I'll leave that to them) and I'll be releasing a split 10"/CD with ASG as well as a new full length. You'll be hearing a lot from the BT guys in the '09.
  5. After that? Not sure. Got a lot of things in the works currently. The next project to see the light of day will be a new Kylesa 7". Its at the plant now and I'll give the details on that later...
  6. I've recently uncovered a handful of Skeletonwitch "Beyond the Permafrost" LPs. The color vinyl has long been sold out, but if you'd still like a black vinyl copy of this before the repress (which looks to be a ways off yet), now is your chance. Also, in an effort to blow out some inventory at the end of the year, we have specially priced package deals. Add more LPs to your order - the more you add, the more you save. Alcest "Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde" and Black Tusk "Passage Through Purgatory" LPs are still available. Add either or both and save some $. Or if you want, also add the Get Rad and The Dead Hate The Living LPs - special prices on the 5 LP lot! These prices are only available until Tuesday, December 30 (orders will ship on Wednesday, December 31) and are for US customers only. If you are outside the US, please write for postage information. Paypal button is on the Hyperrealist homepage.
  7. bunit - arrrrgh. yes. i need to take care of that. i'll make sure a package goes out either tomorrow or monday.
  8. ok, the rest of you should have gotten your confirmation emails today. sorry for the delays, i've had a visitor in town for a little while and all label work got put aside until today. also, there will still be some ultra-cheapo sales on older stuff before the year is out. i'm going to try to get some up tonight. and test presses...? yeah, there will be some of those too... i'm going to need to fund the label moving, so there will be a few rarities up for auction.
  9. i bought this on blue on my lunch break the day it came out and still haven't had a chance to watch it. the steelbook was exclusive to futureshop in canada - anyone up there want to pick one up for me? it was sold out online.
  10. I love Alison Krauss' voice so I'm going to have to check this out. Speaking of Emmylou, I saw her a couple of years ago with Elvis Costello. That was an incredible show.
  11. Yeah, there's not much else really. The only thing in it other than the seeds is this bitter tasting pithy crap that you wouldn't want to eat anyway. I love the fruit and look forward to them every winter. I don't know the band though. I'll have to check them out.
  12. + I don't work at the shop on fridays. Allllll label work. + One day closer to a visit from a special someone. + Found Christmas present for said someone... + Got a new record in the works today. - Spent every penny in my pocket on bills.
  13. Does he post here? Anyone here know him? I need to get him an LP I owe him from a trade. If anyone has his info, that would be great.
  14. Haha. I hope so, Justin. How've you been? Travis - if you want to part with it, I'd be happy to trade.
  15. tak3n0prisoner5 - I PMd you. Get back to me. Also, if anyone out there can get their hands on a clear copy of the Relapse version, I will trade a test press for it.
  16. Ok, real quick because the more time I spend here the less time I spend packing LPs... monkonuggets - email me your info. i'll see if i can fix up this scratched LP for you. I have no idea why it would arrive in that condition, but we'll make it good somehow. CJ - email me your current address and transaction number. i'll get on yours right away to make sure it doesn't ship to the wrong address. also, the page is set up to stop accepting orders when the remaining copies are all sold. its getting really close, just a few left so if you want one jump on it now. if you're waiting on the scratch and dent sale, that should be happening later in the week. i'll have a few dinged up things on the cheap as well as package deals on old stuff. bigtime inventory reduction. thanks! p.s. baroness "first & second" LP out in early '09.
  17. We've got just a handful of the Baroness 2xLP left and they are up for sale. I want to blow these things out the door before the Relapse version is officially released on tuesday, so head on over to the Hyperrealist website and pick one up if you haven't gotten your hands on one yet. Quantities are very limited. All of the details on are in the update. I think we have gotten around to anyone who has been missed, but if you are still waiting on an LP from a previous order and have NOT been contacted by us in the past couple of weeks, please email pat(at)hyperrealist(dot)com and we'll sort it out. Thanks. Pat
  18. invaderjay - They're in Downey, CA. jailhouse - Yeah, give them a call. Talk to Ken Brisbin and tell him I sent you. He'll probably make some smartass comment. He's rad. I think their turnaround right now is about 2 weeks for tests and 3 more for production. I can't remember a time when people just weren't getting records from them, but I didn't press anything for a little while when I took a break from labels around 98. Are you using Bill Smith now?
  19. Wow Erika, I haven't heard that name in a long ass time. Are they doing well? They earned a horrible reputation for a while there. I've been using them pretty much exclusively since the last days of my old label, so a little over ten years now. They're doing great. Like most places, they're slammed right now with a lot of vinyl work. I've heard a lot of people say that they had a bad reputation for a while, but I just can't imagine why. They do a fantastic job at everything they do. There was a shithead sales rep there in the mid-late nineties that wasn't easy to deal with (and would even refuse some work from me), but he's been gone for a long time now. Ken and Liz are great and I love working with them. They get all my business and will continue to for the foreseeable future.
  20. I don't think they're trying to trick anyone. Its more likely that the sales rep is a bad typist. I've had several invoices from Erika for 12' lacquers. Man, I wish I could press a 12 foot record.
  21. The difference in 1 and 2 step processing is basically the number of parts made from your lacquer in order to make more stampers in the future. Generally 2 step processing is the way to go. The prices for pressing, labels etc are per piece. Shrinkwrap is .10 each. One cent would read .01, no idea why they left the 0 off. I would question the label typeset charge - see if they are going to charge you anything if you provide camera ready artwork.
  22. If so, please contact me. I have to get a package to them on the road. Preferably in TX or AZ.
