This is a terrible sentiment, luckily it was just a kiss, and not a grope. People forget how bad things are when they don't happen to you. What if your daughter or wife or mother was the one to be violated onstage? I doubt anyone would stand to just let that happen. I've heard of a time where someone kissed Shannon from Hunx and his Punx/Shannon and the Clams and she punched him in the face, I used to think it wasn't that big of a deal. But when I see young girls crowdsurfing and getting groped by dudes , it pisses me off. I understand a lot of social justice is kind of a pissing contest to see which one is more stupid, but rape culture is not one of them.

for real. i think the only "podcast" i ever listened to/watched was a free one off itunes. it was the first pokemon episode dubbed over by these two guys really badly, and they were just swearing and saying stupid shit over the mouth movements of ash and pikachu. they also played the girl voices

Okay so I finally got through a few whole listens of Sunbather by Deafheaven. Every time I sit down to listen to it I just get bogged down by the vocals. I know VC loves this album so don't shame me or anything but I think it's a really great piece of work...without the vocals. If this album came out about 6 years ago I bet my 19 year old self would have loved it even more but that really isn't my cup of tea anymore.
 
With that being said, what are some albums that you think would be better without the vocals or with a different vocalist altogether? My contribution is obviously the album mentioned above.

It's actually a brown-green color.  I think this record is worth $80 at least!

A girl I met on myspace many many moons ago. Our birthdays were close, so we decided to meet for the first time at a pub that had live music 5 nights a week, and celebrate both our birthdays(lame as fuck exscuse to get laid). Half way through the night I borrow my mates house keys and take the girl back there(about a 2 minute walk from the pub). We fuck, we go back to the show enjoy the rest of the eve, then go back to her place and fuck again.
 
We end up dating for a few months. All good times. One day I notice a package for a pregnancy test on the bathroom floor. I enquired about to be told it was her room mates. Eh, whatever. All good. A few weeks later we break up, no fights or arguments. Just both went our seperate ways.
 
A few weeks after that, a friend from high school is dating the same girl. WTF. that pissed me off a bit, but whatever. No cheating involved, so I figure. Let them have their fun. Adults and all that.
 
They break up after a few months and he's having a party to celebrate. Apparently they didn't end on good terms. So the party is going well, bands in one corner, beers being drank on the roof. As the nights winding down I kinda sneak off and take a shit on the inside of his oven door. Revenge shit, is the best kind of shit! Close it back up, and leave as calmly as I arrived.
 
Next morning I get a call from him...did you shit in my oven? Laughing uncontrolably I say yes, because it's hilarious. Bad news for him, he was hungover, and wanted to make breakfast, turned the oven on to heat up, and baked my turd in the process.
 
Again, HILARIOUS.
 
It was during this phone call he told me why they broke up. He paid for an abortion. He wanted to have the kid, she didn't.
 
I never told him about the pregnancy test I saw on the floor that she attributed to her room mate. I couldn't leave him thinking he paid for my abortion AND a kitchen smelling of burnt bog.

I wasted 3 years in the prime of my dating years with her because I had zero self esteem. No one should ever suffer the same. Alright so I dated this girl from freshman year of high school till my senior year. Senior year she decides shes done with me and hooks up with some dude a week after she last stayed at my house. This kid delivered pizzas from my favorite pizza place so if he ever delivered it my family would have to get it because they knew I wouldve rocked this kid if I was face to face with him (I had a really bad temper.)  Our break up was really bad. A lot of mind games by her and shit talking by both of us. We also had mutual friends so that didnt help anything as well as her locker being by mine. It also bummed me out she moved on so fast after being together for so long. Fast forward to this past November, that dude and her are dating and have been for awhile. I hit her up around May or June because my girlfriend I was with at the time had just officially ended and I wanted a quick rebound to get my mind off it. Turns out shes going to study abroad for the summer so we couldnt hangout. We agree to meet up for coffee one afternoon and do so. It was nice. But then when I was on my way to Chicago for Riot Fest she hits me up again wanting to hangout. So we hangout and somehow got on the topic of our past. And of course our sex life came up. She said "we had good sex" blah blah blah and inside Im thinking "holy shit. Does she actually want to have sex with me even though shes still dating that kid?" Turns out, she did. So I snuck her into my house while texting my buddies "Dude I was just kidding when I said I was gonna bang her tonight, I didnt think it'd actually happen!" They then texted me lyrics to Bump N Grind. We did the deed then I drove her home. We were supposed to hangout the next day and do it again but she decided to hangout with her boyfriend instead.  She then got crazy and thought I was trying to blackmail her. No clue why she thought that because I wasnt and honestly didnt care enough about her relationship to do that. I got what I wanted haha. To this day that kid has no idea. And high school me gave him a big fuck you that night. Normally Id say it was a shitty thing to do, but he had it coming. Still wish I didnt do it though. The craziness after wasnt worth it.
