    It's a really silly rule because pre-season is kind of supposed to get fans excited about the product. Especially in a market like Buffalo where were literally think "this year is our year!" until about week 2 of the regular season.

    Preseason is subject to the same blackout rules as during the regular season. Unfortunately Buffalo and Jacksonville seem to be the only two teams who have to worry about it regularly.

    If it doesn't sell out a few days before the game it gets blacked out to all local TV within 70 miles.
