  2. I'm gonna bid on that donut, ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!
  3. Precedence, meaning the more important factor.. In other words, they'll be purchasing the 180 because THAT is more desirable than the neon green vinyl..
  4. I'm inclined to agree with that, it's two months away, and there's probably not going to be a shortage of these to be had when the album comes out.. So, what's the rush?
  5. I actually just picked up the other record I would have said had I owned it when I initially posted here.. I have a lot of memories attached the Pearl Jam's Vitalogy.. I remember finding a copy of this on cd in a basket of cds a friend of my older sister gave me.. I honestly listened to this album the entire summer, almost completely ignoring all other bands/albums.. I wasn't much into music at this point, so that wasn't too difficult, but there was something compelling about Vitalogy.. There still is.. It honestly brings me back every time I listen to it.. It was the record that opened me up to music, made me feel what it could do and struck me in a way that I just wasn't ready for.. I found a copy of the reissue tonight in Milwaukee, and quickly snatched it up! Soooo sooo glad to finally have it on vinyl!
  6. The most meaningful record I own is Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile. I remember sitting in my room listening to it over and over again, just in fucking total awe of it.. Of course, this was in 1999, and I was a little kid so no vinyl, just a cd copy my mom got me for christmas. A kind soul offered to sell it to me for $40, even though it was clearly selling for much much more.. I was actually just talking about this the other day, but if my apt caught fire, the one thing I would be sure to grab my The Fragile vinyl.. And if I couldn't save it, I wouldn't think twice about spending the $200 for a replacement...
  7. got Loma Prieta I.V. and A Brief History by Rocky Votolato in the mail today!!! Still expecting: Marilyn Manson - ACSS The Chariot - One Wing Rocky Votolato - Self Titled and then the Frogstomp Re-issue.. This was more for me, I can't keep this shit straight.
  8. I named a grindcore/metal band I formed Wolf Dick, we broke up pretty soon after.. I still think Wolf Dick is a great name.
  9. I am fucking stoked for sure. It'll be my 4th, 5th, and 6th time seeing them!
  10. Silverchair - Frogstomp Marilyn Manson - ACSS Exitmusic - Passage Rocky Votolato - A Brief History Rocky Votolato - Self-Titled The Chariot - One Wing Pretty much the most vinyl I've had in the mail at one time..
  11. Ordered. Man these fucking awesome reissues are piling up! With this and the Frogstomp reissue, I'm getting close to $70 spent on records in two days time!!! to gain the free shipping deal, I threw on One Wing!!! FUCKING PUMPED!!! Also, being slightly drunk makes spending money way WAY easier!!!
  12. Calm down, dude/dudette. I read the fucking pages... Called a few of the closest HT's and got the 200 copies story.
  13. Ordered the neon green one! Pretty excited as this will be my first Silverchair record on vinyl.. I know MOV did a reissue of Neon Ballroom, but I heard it sounded really awful.
  14. I have a sealed copy I may be interested in parting with..
  15. So, outside of depending on a store to have this in stock, how would one acquire it? Is this available online too?
  16. Could someone pm me with a link!? I'd love to hear this, and it's not where I usually look!!!!
  17. Ordered Exitmusic's Passage a couple days ago! Can't wait to get it!!!!
  18. I guess the more pertinent question should have been, why are they selling tapes?
  19. I have a fairly inexpensive set-up.. I have a AT LP60 running into an old pioneer receiver...and then some weird old floor speakers that I kind of completely modified... Sounds pretty awesome to me!!!
