The booklet is the main selling point of this pressing in my opinion. Really looking forward to my copy, I haven't seen any "Suspension" variants yet so I wonder how it turned out.
 
And I'm kicking myself for just discovering this album/band earlier this year. Shoot, that 10 year anniversary tour last year for this would've been amazing, I consider this album one of my top albums of all time.

Honestly, if they even included a cd-sized booklet,  I would be happy.  

He's not even marking it up that much.  How is this even worth it??  He paid $40 for it with shipping from Mondo, and is selling it for $65. After Ebay and Paypal fee's, he'll make less than $10.  What a waste of time

I was assured today that this is indeed in the process of being pressed. No date given, but it IS coming.

someone on twitter said this:  "@LYDIAmusic Bought the Illuminate pressing from SRC. There are gaps between every song, like they pressed it from a bad CD RIP."  
 
Is this actually the case?? seems like a major fuck up.  the songs all lead into each other

I was more interested in the manufacturing process behind fixing this problem.  So there is more dead wax on each side, but still the same amount of music on each side.  so that must mean that in the fixed repress, the grooves are closer together so that the songs can finish before getting too close to the center, right?  Wouldn't having the grooves closer together potentially affect the sound quality in some other way? 

Maybe I can help:
When mastering the audio for the first pressing of this, it was mastered too loudly or too "hot." In doing this, it physically creates a wider gap between each groove. If there is a ton of low end and not enough space between the grooves, it causes negative audio reactions.
My guess is that this new pressing was cut much quieter, allowing for the grooves to remain closer together and keep the ending of each side further from the label.
This is how longer records are cut into single LPs. If you compare any 1xLP pressing to a future 2xLP repressing, the second pressing is generally louder with a more prominent low end.
