My records still sound good I just didn't know if I shouldn't be Playing them after that.

I have an ATLP60 and i recently hit the auto start to play a 7" but it was set to 12 so the needle came down on I'm assuming the slipmat. Kit could've been the metal user neath but I didn't stop to look. It made an awful noise and I lifted it as fast as I could. Is it possibly damaged and should I refrain from playing anything until I get a new one??

While I forgot this exchange even took place when I was new to the vinyl game, and can now see and understand both sides of the issue, congratulations on being an asshole 4 months too late.

When I put Side B on, I'm a little underwhelmemed at how the opening guitar of "Fade" sounds. Makes me wonder if I should keep my 3rd press yellow since it sounds so fantastic. I'm still trying to sell it.

If they repress it I might get one, but then nobody will want to buy the first press since it sounds so crappy?

Also bought, and am officially looking to sell my 3rd press yellow. Count on me for pictures when this new press comes in the mail.

The "Reflection" vid is great. I wouldn't hold your breath for a repress guys... I don't thinik it would financially benefit them, honestly. I love B&C. I have a couple copies of Separation, the Braid split, and TTWTWM, all of them on vinyl. But if I already bought TTWTWM and it's listenable *mine is* I'm not gonna wanna drop $20 more on another copy that sounds slightly better. If not for the surface noise, mine's sounds great (/750 opaque red). I feel like others are in the same boat, that wouldn't spend the money for another copy. I could be wrong though.

Also got records more expensive than my LP60 here. Got an ugrade stylus, but come on... I'll definitely be getting the cheaper, basic version of this if the reviews are good.

Think these will still be available Tues? My paycheck arrives Monday.

Seriously, every fucking pressing of this album is beautiful.

Because it was so hard to get $160 for a copy when there were 10k of them floating around... o.O
