There goes my theory about DW handling horror releases, while Mondo gets everything else. I wonder how they decide what gets the Death Waltz or Mondo treatment? Glad to hear that random variants are finally dead.

I don't think Mondo has released a jazz record before.. But someone definitely needs to release the Whiplash soundtrack on vinyl.

Just watched The Guest which has an amazing 80s inspired synth soundtrack. I can't wait for the vinyl release. I think I remember hearing about Mondo or Death Waltz handling this release?

Looks like Death Waltz are done with subscriptions.. The takeover by Mondo is already off to a bad start.

We need more Giacchino on vinyl in general.

Speaking of Home Alone.. I would have loved to see that soundtrack re-pressed on vinyl. I don't think I own any Christmas themed soundtracks.

It's great that waxwork are finally offering a subscription service.. The only problem is this is probably the worst time of the year to launch one.

Just received the Halloween III re-issue. I was hoping they were gonna be using the new sleeve style they've been using recently.. but the record is still in a standard sleeve, just with a new layout and obi strip.

Zavvi releases always shows items as sold out before they officially go live. It will be interesting to see if this is a one off, or if Zaavi have plans to release more records.

It obviously had to be included.. But it would be better if the Jackson 5 / Marvin Gaye tracks were ignored on the album art, considering they technically belong on Awesome Mix Vol 2
