  1. Hey, I just added some Nirvana goodness to my collection. Its a bootleg, but I dont care since I'm a sucker for clear vinyl I also added a new slipmat to my collection from The Juan McClean (I absolutely love Nancy Whang)
  2. Not sure if this is against the rules (and I'm too lazy to check) but you can get the HT variant for a semi-decent price on ebay..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marilyn-Manson-THE-PALE-EMPEROR-Marble-Grey-HOT-TOPIC-Vinyl-New-SEALED-2xlp-/161577828280?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item259ec9ffb8
  3. downtown Seattle was a joke........at first glance it looks like there are a bunch of records in there, but further inspection revealed to be about 3-5 records and a truckload of calendars. They did have two copies of that Mumford boxset, one sealed one not.....
  4. So wait, are there any deluxe editions left anywhere? I'm just now finding out about this release and I'm totally bummed that I missed out on that O/B variant
  5. So someone unloaded a MASSIVE new wave collection at Easystreet Records in west seattle and I went pickin' yesterday! I'm such a sucker for stuff thats still in the plastic wrap and if it has the original hype sticker I usually buy it. Well, these person was a HUGE depeche mode fan and there are tons of great singles and almost all 1st pressings of the 80's albums. If you live in Seattle, I highly recommend you swing by and get some of the good stuff while it lasts. Everything is near mint and clearly it came from someone who knew how to take care of a record. With that being said, I picked up the following: Depeche Mode: Strange Love in plastic wrap w/ original hype sticker Depeche Mode: It's Called a Heart in plastic wrap w/ original hype sticker Depeche Mode: Shake The Disease splatter vinyl variant Depeche Mode: People Are People Gold Promo Stamp Full Metal Jacket OST w/ gold promo stamp and finally my GoHasting.com variant of the new Manson record came in as well.
  6. I will never again order from NIN.com unless they switch who handles their orders. With that being said, I did the pre-order through amazon and ended up getting an $8 refund since the price changed by the time the LP came out.
  7. The SHIT ROBOT records are on point......I highly recommend them!
  8. Stopped by a Hot Topic today to see if I could manage a copy of the new MM album, no luck, but I did have my dog with me and the manager fell in love. So much so that she offered to give me a buy one, get one 50% off deal on any two vinyl I wanted since the MM was not in stock. Here's what I picked up.....
  9. Travis, do you know if the retail stores can process a store to store transfer or direct ship to a customer?
  10. I just placed an order for the Go Hastings variant and I'll post up about that one once I get it.
  11. oh, and my cover is still the off black and not purple, its just reflecting the blue LEDs I have up in my livingroom.....
  12. Just picked up my DE copy of the vinyl and from the sounds of it I made the right decision. This thing is beautiful..... I'm going to put my copy through my Spin Clean and see if I can clean up Side B because my copy is riddled with pops
  13. wow, talk about shit hitting the fan.....This is what I received for my grab bag..... and this is what I ended up doing with the vinyl...... [/url] I needed a new car key holder anyways.....
  14. I have no idea who this band is but Easystreet Records in West Seattle had a TON of their LPs up on their wall today, it looked like a die-hard fan unloaded their collection or something. If you live in Seattle, head over and take a look at whats posted. I would have taken a photo for ya'll but I didn't pay too much attention since I don't know anything about them. Hopefully someone here can swing by and maybe score some rarities
  15. Yeah, I guess my post isn't needed in this thread. I was dealing with a bout of insomnia and wasn't paying too much attention. As far as flips go, they were not purchased with the intent of flipping. I'm a pretty die-hard U2 fan and it was very difficult to let those records go, but when my ex fiance and I broke up I needed cash to pay off the damn ring and move myself into a new place. I cut about a 4th of my collection down since I had nothing left in my savings after buying the ring. I hate flippers and never plan on being one anytime soon.....
  16. The clear has been the only release posted that I know of. I'd say snag the one on Amazon regardless if its limited or not, the OST is AMAZING......
  17. I'd say that if it was pre-ordered from MM's site, then you have a good chance. If it was pre-ordered from Amazon, most likely not. Easystreet Records had about 20 copies of this 10" and they wouldn't budge on giving me an extra copy
  18. Just got this in last night and its AMAZING!!! Very William Orbit-ish....... Anyone else get theirs?
  19. This looks to be an indie store only promo. I'm heading over to Easystreet Records here in Seattle to pre-order mine and pick up my 10"
  20. I know the topic is old, but I did a google search and didnt find a thread for the purchase of the vinyl editions.
  21. My killer finds come from Amoeba in Hollywood..... U2 - I Will Follow Promo 12" - Paid $4.99, sold it later on eBay for $150 U2 - Wire Promo 12" - Paid $7.99, sold it on eBay for $350 .....and then a small indy shop in San Diego (I forgot the name) U2 - Bad Promo 12" - Paid $1.99, sold it on eBay for $140 and my biggest missed opportunity - Hot Topic around 1999-2000 - Nine Inch Nails THE FRAGILE for $9.99 on clearance. I only bought one copy when they had roughly 15
  22. I have way too many copies of FILTH PIG (This one being sealed) and I added the SG which is gold promo stamped
