  1. Keep checking back through out the week. A lot of their "daily deals" will have the same price afterward. Also LOL @ 5000 copies pressed. They're pressing as many of these things as they can sell.
  2. Not sure if I can change the opinion of someone who uses the word faggot as a derogitaroy term in the year 2014, but Robert Pattinson gives a near Oscar nomination worthy performance in The Rover. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2345737/ Probably not enough to erase all that Twilight junk, but he can act.
  3. I've called a few stores that sold things after RSD last year, seeing if they'll sell me something over the phone (I'm working Friday) all of them said they couldn't sell early and would be putting up their RSD left overs on their website on the weekend or Monday.
  4. I guess you get what you pay for applies here. Ordered on the 12th and still no shipping email Listening to Spotify and getting interrupted by ads has gotten old. On the plus side it is starting to become one of my favorite albums of the year. When it's finished I get the urge to play it again.
  5. Yeah what the heck I jumped on the Groupon as well, $22.50 was too good deal. Plus it's a known good pressing from an awesome pressing plant. I don't want to risk the colored vinyl being pressed at some place like Rainblo
  6. This is what my local record store owner told me. That's why I was asking if anyone knew a distributor they could verify it with.
  7. I've heard a rumor that they're planning to do a light blue color vinyl pressing closer to Christmas. Anyone confirm/heard this from distributors?
  8. $9 shipping for a huge order. That is pretty good. ImportCDs is the opposite by tacking on a $2-3 "handling fee" (on top of the shipping) for every item you order which is BS.
  9. I think they'll do reunion tours, they didn't break up on bad terms or anything. I regret not ever seeing them solo, since I'm just in the next state over from where they're from.
  10. Yeah the new CD isn't "loudness wars" bad by any means, but on the original the drums have really great snap and punch to them. The remaster it's all louder, but not terribly so. Isis has always sounded pretty decent, I'm glad they never went the brickwalled modern sounding route. I think the original CD sounds even better than the vinyl in the Shades box. I saw them open for Tool a couple of times, bass was so loud it was shaking the seating the one time, but it still sounded pretty good and not too distorted. Quite a feat that their sound guy achieved. Tool sounded like yacht rock afterwards. You can't really get that bone crushing bass on vinyl.
  11. Does the remastered Panopticon sound less dynamic to anyone? There isn't an entry for it in the DR database yet. But IMO the original release on CD sounds more dynamic to me. Maybe not as clear though. I go back and forth about selling my Shades box set... their CDs sound really great as is.
  12. I've only played the white so far, just going from memory this pressing is much quieter than the first pressing. There is pretty much no surface noise besides in the lead in grooves.
  13. Thanks. How about a good place to buy the black EU pressing then?
  14. Any good places online to buy the red or clear for USA peeps?
  15. I have only got one from Amazon and the pressing was not good, it had lots of surface noise. I read on another forum that others had problems with the US pressings. I returned it, I might get a European pressing if more people report that they're better.
  16. I got my green and white, and they never sent me a shipping email (checked spam too). Sounds pretty good.
