Tell that to the Jurassic Park fans last year Seriously though, vinyl definitely lasts longer than the prints. However, for internet releases, popular vinyl still goes in a half hour to a few hours. The interesting dynamic here is that a ton of their stock goes at ComicCon since it's not traditionally released until a week after. We saw this with the Ghibli releases and the Batman 7"s. A couple of the 7"s went in minutes. We'll just have to wait and see.

So, with the craziness that went on early on with these, I was able to get a Bull Moose pre order successfully. Shortly after, we had confirmation of the black reissues and I always prefer black pressings for the longevity and sound quality. So with those pre orders, I'm debating trading the box. I'm pretty much only interested in other Koz releases, many of which I have but am missing the usuals. Specifically, a black ATL would be awesome. So if anyone is a bigger RHP fan and would like to trade, let me know. I'm not to the point of selling yet so please don't bother messaging about that. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I feel like trading Kozelek releases is kind of doomed to failure in many cases. Mainly, the kind of people who have to have this box are the type of people who have to have every other release. Therefore, it's less likely that they would be willing to trade one rare record for another rare record and thus put themselves in a familiar and somewhat equal situation that they started in. Doesn't stop me from trying either, though.

Got 'dat black bundle. So from what I can gather, are these the same releases, same number of discs, just on black? I wonder if they will contain the download codes as well. Judging from the price difference in the box set vs. the bundle, that must have been some expensive shrink wrap and cardboard

No, didn't say it was their fault. However, if Bull Moose does the same thing and comes through every time for me, it's not hard to see who I'm going to trust more. I'm not sure what Amazon's problem has been in the past. Maybe they have such a large order base that I just get in way past their allocation or maybe Koz doesn't like them so they get short-changed. I'm surprised he lets any external retailer carry his vinyl instead of selling them to people he likes out of his van, they can be so limited.

Thanks, but no thanks. I refuse to pre-order any vinyl ever from Amazon given that I believe I've had two Kozelek releases fall through with them so far.

I will say that, other than differentiatinig presses, I wouldn't have minded a repress of pure black 180 gram just for possible better fidelity. Other than that, I'm not caring much.

Am I the only one who is actually getting pretty good response from the BullMoose website? I mean, I'm only really refreshing Mark Kozelek's vinyl page in futility, but it refreshes pretty quickly, really.
