  1. He's been talking about this for a long time now (over a year?) so it's reached the I'll believe it when I see it stage. I'm filing it away with Death Waltz's House of the Devil, Mondo's Jurassic Park, Waxwork's Friday the 13th, and somebody else's Witchfinder General.
  2. I doubt either record sells out today. Its a shorter run than we are usually made aware of so they will probably go this weekend, but the site didn't seem slow to me at all. I was able to get one of each vinyl and a poster(!) Without any real trouble. Not a ton of interest. Just look at this thread; there're only half a dozen of us posting in here.
  3. Roger that. Thanks. I've missed the last few traveling for work, but I'm actually home for once tomorrow.
  4. And I'm glad to see your avatar is a fucking amazing and wholly underappreciated Judas Priest album. Well done, sir.
  5. Shit, playa, can they score two? Paypal is but a keyboard click away and I'd be happy to buy their entry fee as well...
  6. Chopping Mall just announced via their official Twitter. That's awesome. We could get the soundtrack to vinyl and the film to bkuray in the same year. Good news.
  7. Here's a M. Akers 7". (I'm looking at you, Dario33) https://matthewakers.bandcamp.com/album/unused-score-for-la-puntura-velenosa-delle-notte Another soundtrack inspired banger. This time more 80's influenced. (vinyl available from label - link on page) https://slasherfilmfestivalstrategy.bandcamp.com/album/crimson-throne A beauty of an African electronique record. (again, vinyl available through kink on page) https://sahelsounds.bandcamp.com/album/la-musique-electronique-du-niger And this is for a twice out of print, cassette only release from 2012, but listen to it, buy it, and get them to press a record. These guys could be fucking huge if they were on a bigger label. Think Neon Indian. Maybe. I don't know. Enjoy. https://airlinestapes.bandcamp.com/album/deep-fantasy
  8. I was indeed. Thanks for your input. I have all three versions of Superior Viaduct's release of Artemiev's original and both of Mirumir's as well. All five sport different artwork and they are sourced from three distinct sources and two separate recordings so there's quite a variety there. I want to add Martinez' to the mix, but wasn't sure which to pick up.
  9. That's because the WeMe edition is 2LP instead of 1. Higher fidelity. Also, WeMe mastered and tracked the score for vinyl from the original tapes. While Milan used their track order (minus a few), the provenance if their source material is unknown. Cheers!
  10. Nice looking haul, redroom! Would you be so kind as to rank them according to their fidelity? Cheers!
  11. I couldn't agree more, but the again, if these sell as well as interest seems to indicate they will, it eventually shall.
  12. Props, oojavaguru! I appreciate that. Bronx Warriors is a wish list item for me so that's made my night! Not familiar with In The Wall, but I'm very optimistic because, let's be honest, Mansell. The two Italian films are new to me, but I've had my eyes opened to a lot of Italian score and library releases these past few years so I'll check them out and decide from there. The OWS LHOTL pic disc is pretty meh. Seb is the nicest of all these label bosses and has the best communication/customer service to boot, but I don't need any more versions of that score for RSD. I think the cassette version was their RSD for last year. Plus picture discs blow. All that negativity aside, I'm truly glad the property had had that much traction for the company. Great stuff.
  13. It sounds like less than a dozen people did and at least half of them alerted the board's mods who in turn took them down. Reaction to the titles ranged from wild excitement to comolete unfamiliarity with the material, but none of the remaining posts offered any clues beyond what the label boss has already said publicly. A One Way Static release was apparently leaked as well, but no info there either I'm afraid. It won't be long now before they're officially out there anyway.
  14. Firmly in agreement here. If the James on the road storyline was distilled down to the necessary bits, the season would be about three episodes shorter and a lot less soap opera-esque. Windham Earl and the leadup to the finale are awesome in my opinion. The show really seemed to struggle while Lynch was away.
  15. This just happened on DW's Twitter a few minutes ago: "Oh hello Dracula AD 72 & Satanic Rites Of Dracula masters….." Looks like they're getting back into the Hammer Films catalogue. Going to have to find some samples.
  16. Same here. I was just posting about the danger of new, original art on iconic soundtrack releases. Can be pretty hit or miss. Lynch's album art doesn't really excite, but I'm going to stay positive dammit.
  17. Yep, I waffled for a minute as well, but I pulled the trigger on Monday. Can't beat the price 4 records for 60% less than DW's 6 is too god a deal to pass up. Their announced scores thus far don't have the marquee value or completely redone art, but they are very good (Ferox has been on a lot of collector wish lists for ages) and I for one love the packages so far. They're a nice change of pace from new, original artwork which doesn't always suit my fancy. I like the 70s style photography and framing they employ. Also, giving subscribers first crack at RSD releases is awesome. One of their titles leaked last night on another board (the posts that mentioned the release by name were taken down before I got there, but people were very excited). Cheers.
  18. No sweat, Kev. Also, someone asked DW about pressing numbers yesterday on Twitter and they responded, "I'm sure we'll press enough twin peaks for everyone." Not exactly a specific number, but coming from a boutique label one can safely infer that thus will be pressed to beat the band.
  19. Great pics, ptrsev! Thanks for posting them. I ordered three (two for myself and one for my brother), but I got only the clear vinyl. I ordered in the first few minutes (later than some, but definitely earlier than others on here with the two-sided variant). Kind of a bummer, but at least it's a great sounding and looking release.
  20. Anybody on here going to the screening? I'm 1500 miles away, but I like this movie and really like the score. I'd love the blue variant at the screening, but I've no way of getting there. If anyone can hook a collector up, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to return the favor in spaces. Cheers!
  21. They do, but now that they distribute through LITA, they never sell out of any new releases with the exception of The Fog OST and they repressed that almost immediately. Unless they can only press 500-1000, we will all get a copy of this and that is awesome.
