  1. Loving the Vitamin R cap! I spend a lot of summer nights at Cheney.
  2. Fair enough, but most of the folks in this thread are or at least were referring to Amazon's us site for info So when you responded with the high shipping cost, I thought I should make the point clearer to my original audience. Where are you located? Amazon UK is now listing this as an import which is odd since I've read it's a UK release.
  3. Fear not!In the USA, standard shipping for that LP is $1.99 and the additional is $2.99. I know because I purchased it. Not sure where the $8.98 + $5 is listed, but it is not accurate.
  4. http://www.deepdiscount.com/lp/SHOREHOWARD-HOBBIT-THE-DESOLATION-OF-SMAUG-IMPORT Boom.
  5. I hope I get a variant. I wonder if the after market price on these will be pricey even thought the run hasn't even sold out yet let alone arrived in stores.
  6. LITA packaging is always phenomenal and these are no exception. Evil One is a fucking banger. Don't sleep.
  7. Mount Analog also has it for $30. I just received my red copy from WeMe this morning and spun the first lp at lunch. It sounds great. Clean and clear. They did a great job. I'm interested in hearing a review of the Milan release now to see how it sounds crammed on to one platter.
  8. Mine arrived on Thursday. I can't post images on this site for the life of me, but it's honestly pretty dissapointing, aestheticaly speaking. I've only seen the DW subscriber version and not their other, but I like it better personally. I'm curious to see the LITA variant. The sound is great as is the score and that's of course the most important part.
  9. Seconded! I tracked down the Judgment Night OST on MOV recently mostly for this song, but the majority of it holds up well. An idea ahead of its time. Now to find a clean copy of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey...
  10. Acoustic Sounds had troubles with the MOV Faith No More preorders as well, but when they realized they had oversold or couldn't get the colored variants (I honestly don't remember which), they sent out emails to that effect. It was nice of them to let people know, but then it became a scramble to find this versions elsewhere after most everyone had pre-sold their copies out as well.
  11. I've never received any before. I've received order complete emails, but that doesn't mean they've shipped. If you sign inntontheir website, you can look up your order history and it will indicate if it's shipped. I know a couple of UK folks have already received theirs. Where are you located?
  12. I agree with all of this, but sadly it's nothing new and certainly not exclusive to vinyl collecting. Flip whatever you want, to whoever you want, for whatever price you can get. Just keep it out of my happy place. This is where I come to talk to other enthusiasts about vinyl and occasionally help one another out. It is not a cellphone kiosk at the mall. I said good day.
  13. Yes, one of the excuses why it was well abive cost was they needed to help their family out of a "hole." That's an utterly sympathetic position of course, but then I thought why are you buying $12 7"s if you're family is in debt? Oh, right. To flip them. Again, fine, but don't come at me like you're trying to do me a favor by price gouging. Just put your shit on eBay and be done with it.
  14. I read somewhere around the time of the ReAnimator release that Waxwork was going to do Friday the 13th. We'll see if that holds. I would've bet dollars to donuts that Death Waltz would have released Halloween, if even just in Britain. They made no secret about wanting that OST and they've released a half dozen other Carpenter/Carpenter and Howarth scores.
  15. Seriously!! These are quadruple the rip online right now. I've already been contacted by two memebers about purchasing them, but they both wanted more than face value. One person wanted close to three times as much for one and the other asks how much I was "willing" to pay and then said never mind they were going to take it to eBay. Mondo vinyl corrupts absolutely.
  16. Thanks for the effort and the kind mention. It is greatly appreciated. I'm going to be pretty bummed to pay aftermarket for these little guys.
  17. Thanks very much, HG. I truly appreciate that. I'll keep my fingers crossed as well and please let me know what, if anything occurs. Cheers!
  18. Would anybody be willing to pick me up copies of the three 7"s? I have a full collection minus these obviously. I've never missed a Mondo drop before as my work schedule doesn't interfere, but I'm on a plane tomorrow. I'd be happy to reimburse you, trade with you, or secure copies of future drops for you. Cheers!
  19. I know of six people who got seam splits. Out of six.
  20. I just got mine this morning. Ordered two, received two variants. Colors aside, they actually look quite different.
  21. My colored IY and TRT arrived today. I'll report back after a couple of listens, but the packages are lovely.
