  1. My special edition just arrived today. It's a red/white mix. On twitter, One Way Static said there were less than fifty of these. I tried posting a picture, but the site says I'm not allowed to use photobucket (?).
  2. What? Yes! Looks like I've got at least one more day on the right side of the grass.
  3. Right and Mondo is the worst offender of this. I want to see other, smaller, newer companies be more consumer friendly not less so. They're never going to be as big as Mondo so don't take the same tack; work with your fan base not in spite of them. Glad to hear waxwork listened. Hopefully One Way Static, Death Waltz, and the like will follow suit.
  4. This is honestly my only complaint. We're all accustomed to waiting a month or so (or longer) for preorders (I know most all of you from the Mondo thread), but just have the curtousey to at least have it shipped by the street date.
  5. Same here. "Order complete," but no tracking/shipping/arrival info. I'm order 911 and they tweeted earlier today that orders "began shipping last week." Rooks is even earlier than me so I have no earthly idea when or if these shipped nor when they'll arrive.
  6. I just received shipment notification for TRT and IY! In love these reissues thus far. I can only hope KFADFFAL and WCAL are not far behind.
  7. I stand corrected. I was going off the preorder info that I've received. The package is savege (although the zombie flesh and blood variant is only available now as a random insert direct from waxwork) and the music is pretty cool as well. Not my favorite score, but a good one all the same.
  8. Not a DW record and, unless it's the original pressing, it's highly unlikely that you saw it in a store as Waxwork hasn't shipped them yet and they're based in NOLA anyhow. Maybe you're referring to Zombie Flesh Eaters? If so, it is a grand release.
  9. Bought and paid for. I love each of their last three releases. Very interested to see what the subscription versions look like.
  10. Death Waltz just tweeted that Assault On Precinct 13 should be going up for sale today. No clarification about whether it would be on LITA as well or I he was referencing the vinyl or the cassette edition available at Beyondfest last night.
  11. More the principle than anything else, friend. But I've said my piece and I'm happy with that. Back to burning calories on feeding my nerd box.
  12. Don't. Suspend, but don't delete. There are way too many people here troll baiting for all the blame to be heaped on one person/two accounts. Heed your inner Rambo and take the smoother path. Also, thanks for the shipping info, Rooks. Even optimistically, Halloween is over a month away. Bummer.
  13. The Public Enemy box set me back this summer as well.
  14. Rooksy, did you get a shipping confirmation email from Waxwork when you bought Reanimator? I just checked my email history and I don't believe that I did. These may, as museummouth alluded to, just show up.
  15. Oh right! That's why I came here in first place. I talked to someone at Mondo today and they said that their understanding was that at least the next two releases, including the "halloween” release (not sure if they meant the film or the holiday, but I think we all believe they're synonymous at this point), would have worldwide distribution. Meaning that no one else had vinyl rights to the scores save Mondo. However, this person is a lower head on the totem pole so take it with a grain of salt. As you should anything you read on the internet.EDIT: I mention this because there has been some chatter, here and elsewhere, wondering about Death Waltz or others having the rights to this overseas. As well as trying to help out non Americans to know if they'll have access to the release. Cheers!
  16. I'm bummed out this discussion about the variant insertion (giggity) got derailed with all the name calling because it's a pretty interesting thing to track if not inexact. That said, while realtalk doesn't have an ideal amount of tact or restraint, there are several other folks in here who are constantly baiting and trolling realtalk. I'm surprised and a little dissapointed to see them banned for that. Of course, I'm basing this off this thread alone so forgive my ignorance if I've missed something significant.
  17. This is of particular interest to me because all of my (admittedly spotty) memories of posts complaining about folks ordering multiple copies a receiving all black are from the Drive release as well. I myself freaked out a bit and ordered four copies desperate to get a variant and scared by the amount of hype for that release. I wonder if the theory didn't hold true there because so many folks did exactly the same thing, meaning more people than usual ordered multiple copies.
  18. I had a guy from eBay trade me his OG Maniac variant for a Tyler Stout Drive variant poster. Pretty happy with that swap.
  19. Has anyone ever not received a variant when purchasing two copies? I've bought two every time from The Beyond onward and I've always received one black one variant with two exceptions. Oblivion was variant only on their site so I only bought one and I missed the Maniac 2012 drop and purchased their last copy (according to their email) and received a variant.
  20. Thanks for this. Cool read. Where did it come from?
  21. Honestly, the first three Halloween scores sound pretty good, but,at least to my neophyte ears, the Death Waltz reissues of H2 and H3 sound even better. Hopefully this release will follow suit.
  22. Nor do I. Please let us in on the joke?
