It probably would. I like Mondo, but I worry that the audio portion of this won't be their priority as much as it would be in another label's hands.

Don't leave me in suspense! Hook a fellow up!

I hope it receives proper treatment and not just a beautiful package. I'd like to see this release include the extra tracks and curs found on the expanded release much like Death Waltz did with The Fog.

Done and dusted. Thanks for the heads up. -
I found mine on eBay. I'm not sure of the seller's ID at the moment, but I'll edit this post with it after work. I paid $29.99 for it shipped. The color wasn't noted in the lusting (something that happens surprisingly frequently when a seller isn't aware that there are numerous variants for a record), but I messaged them to ask and a couple of days later the responded it was gold and voila! I've used this method a lot lately and I've had a decent success rate. A bit time consuming, but worth it in the end.

Anyone wondering about the fidelity of a particular Faith No More pressing can safely take 828321's word as gospel. That said, I finally tracked down a gold addition of AOTY to go with my blue AD and they both sound spectacular. The best I've heard either sound within my admittedly limited purview. Cheers!

New score for those interested: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/93649-po-red-riding-ost-by-dickon-hinchcliffe/ -
The score to Red Riding: In The Year Of Our Lord 1980 by Dickon Hinchcliffe is set for a mid-October release on Blackest Ever Black and is up for pre-order in few places. Direct from the label (UK): http://blackesteverblack.bigcartel.com/product/dickon-hinchliffe-i-red-riding-1980-i And from Amazon (USA): http://www.amazon.com/Red-Riding-Year-Lord-1980/dp/B00EZPCXTM/ref=sr_1_757?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1379595717&sr=1-757 Best film and score of this trilogy in my opinion.

Backwards is probably the way to go. The 4th record sounds very much like a few of the later, heavier Ween songs (Stroker Ace, Long Night), but it is all a good time.

The NY Ripper OST is definitely one of my most anticipated releases. It's the sleazy 80s at their very best. Pitchfork has a nice article about them here. It's also where the cover art was first revealed on Monday. http://m.pitchfork.com/thepitch/69-death-waltz-records/ I should note, as an addendum to my last post, that I was finally refunded my money. It was a very pleasant and contrite exchange. It took four months to get the refund, but it was nice all the same.

My pleasure, friends. This has been a pretty under the radar release. And, jonrawks, report back after you give them a listen!

After some further research, DW is selling the red/clear split to subscribers (in the past they have opened leftovers to general sale via their website), solid red to stores (on 10/15), and clear red at the shows. It's a bad date for me as well, but I'm powering through and making it happen. Purchased tickets on Monday.

Indeed. Also, I have read somewhere that this will be in stores on 10/15. I'm not sure if that's worldwide, UK only, or what.

Well the money does go to support terrorists, but other than that it's essentially the same album.
