I'm on the hunt for two or three different Whirr shirts in a medium. The designs I'm looking for are the blue pocket tee w/ the swirl design on the back, the old "Distressor" artwork with Nicole Kidman's ass, and the black swirl design. I'll post pics shortly. Oh man, I'd be all about this! Also...a non-pic disc pressing of Fear Before the March of Flames' "Art Damage" is in order. I've got the picture disc, and while I am grateful at least that was pressed, I can't stand picture discs. And with copies selling on eBay for $75+, I'd be really annoyed to have to pay that.The artwork for the album is too great to not be seen on a vinyl jacket (would gatefold be pushing it?)...

Somehow I managed to make the cut for Relapse. Canceled my order at Last Rights, so a copy should've popped up a few hours after they sold out. Hopefully one of you guys got it.

Oh, they are. No worries there. If they're not working on it already, there's a 3rd press coming out in the near future. I'd imagine it'll be a press that's not so damn limited given how fast this variant has been sold. I really couldn't care less if that decreases the value of my beloved OG press - this record deserves a proper pressing as it sounds truly phenomenal on wax...and in general, of course. EDIT: My order number was 7768546. Ordered at 3:02am the 19th.

Man, even worse...just noticed they posted that Facebook link saying 'available now' on Saturday at 2pm. I really, really hope that didn't get rid of 20 copies right there. If that's the case, we're probably all fucked.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news (Wade Barrett, represent), but I've legit got some shitty news... Just got off the phone with Relapse...was told they oversold the shit out of the record and are dealing with the situation as I post this. The dude I spoke with didn't sound certain on the number of copies, but he said something like the first 20 people who ordered will get it. Not sure if they got exactly 20 copies or what, but it sounds like it. I ordered the 19th at 3:05am, can't see they'd be up much before then, so I'm hoping to be in with those first 20...but we shall see. He said they had no idea the record would sell so fast... -___-...hate to shit on Relapse for this, but come on! Isn't it standard protocol to set a limit on the amount of copies available, particularly with a repress where the first pressing goes for triple digits and during god damn Record Store Day?! Sounds like such a ridiculous error, but I don't know...maybe that's common? Even if, it's damn stupid and damn preventable. Supposed to get a call back in an hour or two, so I'll report back with the news as soon as I get the word.

I'm about to order a copy along with the True Widow s/t from the Relapse store...can't resist the reverse artwork, haha. Anyone familiar with Relapse's shipping techniques? Anything to be weary about? Going to order regardless, but I'm wondering if shipping priority would make any difference. If they package vinyl well, then I'll go with media mail. Thanks in advance.
