I got an order shipped email and I'm not sure which order it is. Doesn't say. Just has an order number. I know it's not this because the order confirmation and shipping notice came in another email. I guess I'll be surprised later.

When I was riding to Pittsburgh with Echoes of Harper's Ferry, Tim was telling me that when he played a show with either Hanalei or the Ghost (or maybe Tim just booked it), Brian made everyone play hot potato after the show.

Well, if anyone from Lawrence/KC reads this before the show, I will be at the merch table trying to sell some 7"s and CD's. Come say hi and drink a beer. edit: I'm sure it will be a great time. D4 and The Brokedowns seem like fun gentlemen.

Anyone going? I've tried to get tickets twice now and the last time they told me to just pay at the door. I'll be pissed if they charge me the day of show price. I can't believe I'm about to see the Brokedowns in Lawrence. Sweet.

sometimes I like to write stuff on the sleeves. I once broke weed up on a sleeve, should have written that on it. Damn. Anyways, It felt awesome when one of the first people to order the split 7" I put out wrote me an email saying how much he liked it and how he appreciated the quick order. Keep writing to us label owners when you order stuff, it makes our days better.

I'm not dead, just saving my pennies...and waiting on mastering jobs, god.damn.it. I like to put free stuff in my orders and I'm running a sale I'd like to add that indie labels putting notes and free stuff in with orders is what made me want to start a label and do mail order in the first place.

I'm 23 and just finished my first college course. I'm now taking composition I during the summer. I'm slowly working my way up to be a full time student with online and on campus courses. I can't agree more with the work and school thing, that shit sucks. Meanwhile there are people who get all their rent covered by their parents and scholarships cover the rest. Yet they bitch about how they have to work like 20 hours a week. I have to work more than that and I have to pay for my classes.

We live in a world where if your car gets hit by someone else and you are absolutely not at fault, your insurance still goes up and the company will pay you as little as they possible can. I don't think anyone in the insurance business really gives half a shit about you or anything you are purchasing; they absolutely don't care about what is fare. Insurance has to be one of the biggest scams.

My room mates ex called the police and they went looking for my room mate who took the pills (supposedly). He ran off towards this bike path in the woods so we didn't get a chance to figure out what happened. So the police were searching for my room mate because we didn't know if he ran off to die or what. I don't know him too well so this all just kind of shocks me.

...also, they did find him and have apparently escorted him to the hospital. Hopefully it makes him realize that people do in fact care about him, he just needs to not rely entirely on one person for his support. I think this has been the problem with his past relationships as well.

Yeah. The bad part of the whole thing is we are about to leave for Vegas for a week and his ex lives right next door. He seems to be the type to put damn near everything he has into relationships. I don't mind checking in on him but I also feel like I'm usually the bearer of bad news, like "Hey you need to pay me more money." He has also kind of isolated himself downstairs. I don't know him that well but I hope he can move past this and I hope he can pay me back so it's not awkward. Last time I loan money to anyone...or live with a roommate that I'm not dating.
