  1. $25 vinyl makes the $35 vinyl/t-shirt bundle look generous. I'm onto you, Razor & Tie.
  2. Kind of bummed about the grey. I'm a Lawrence Arms variant collector so it looks like I'll be paying some ungodly amount for this because I don't live in the Midwest.
  3. I snagged a copy of the picture disc. Even with shipping it's 21.99 euro which comes to like $28. So that's now a black/white marble, a picture disc, and probably a copy of the gold tour press! Woo
  4. 2012 was great. I couldn't justify going for 2013 because the headliners did nothing for me. Dillinger Four was enough to get me interested, but I'd need another headliner to swing me.
  5. Assuming there's a tour press, I might be able to pick you up a copy.
  6. The Story So Far - Under Soil and Dirt. Cringe worthy record in an already cringe worthy genre.
  7. The easiest way to explain is with pictures. http://www.dailyvinyl.net/2014/01/TourBlues.html So for Against Me's new record this is the picture of the A Side. For the B side, picture the opposite. The white is the predominant color and the blue is swirled in.
  8. Yeah I've see some good tours swing through. I went for the Wonder Years/Vinnie Caruana holiday show. I'm not sure if that counts as "good" haha but it was fun!
  9. Paradise Shitty steals a vocal cadence(?) melody(?) from BK & the Wandering Birds' - Ramblin' Revisited. YMCA is great and I love the tie ins with the first and last tracks. Great theme of time passing throughout the whole album. Very introspective Chris type stuff.
  10. I went to the Loft once. That venue was so awkwardly designed.
  11. You suck, Toby! Why didn't I win the Lawrence Arms 7" without bidding as much as that guy who won?!?!?!
  12. Exactly. I understand the idea of charging more money so that people who really really love Taking Back Sunday are the ones who get the rarest vinyl, but at the price of $150/$75 to get a copy of splatter, that's too steep. I'd like to see the industry go to a system similar to Fat (except with a more willingness to repress on variants). So for example, you'd charge: $15 for Standard Red (Unlimited? /1000?) $18 for Red/White A-Side/B-Side (/350) $21 for Black w/ Red Splatter (/150) In theory, it adds a little but more risk/reduces profit for flippers. It let's someone choose how much X variant is worth to them and it also makes it less of a "race" to be at your computer checking Facebook/VC/wherever for updates on when vinyl becomes available. Will the rarest presses still sell out quickly? Of course. But I think you'd find people who (like me) bought a copy of The Movielife on clear with black smoke /200 instead of the red variant /700 because I thought they equally complimented the album art. If I had to pay an extra $3 for one, I'd have chosen the less rare variant. Sorry for the rambling, I just think it's absurd to throw a bunch of shit a lot of people don't want into a vinyl bundle with an exclusive variant (See: Alkaline Trio Ouija board)
  13. Definitely a "Greatest Story" vibe from this. I've listened a few times and it's really, really solid. This is going to be one of those albums where everyone has a different favorite song.
  14. The songs sounded good live on Friday. I was able to grab a copy of the tour press which sounds good as well! Pleasantly surprised.
  15. Scholars maintain that the relationship of quantity (Q) to speed in which it sells out (S) is exponential. Time = 1/(Q*S)^2
