That makes sense to me. I just thought it was strange the mods weren't answering the questions about it.

I believe they stated on the forums that their version of A Deeper Understanding would be available to the public, as in you wouldn't need a membership (like they are currently doing with their variant of the new HAIM album).
Some people have asked if that would also be the case with the bundle that includes Slave Ambient but I don't think anyone ever answered them.

Does anybody know whats up with their latest bandpics btw? There are only brandon, ronnie and mark on there, dave is on none of them. From an interview I read a few weeks ago with either Brandon or Ronnie, they just said Dave had other commitments that day and couldn't make the photo shoot. Not sure why they couldn't just reschedule it. Just seems like they all can hardly all get together at the same time these days.

Yeah, I'm not sure. There is a deluxe version that's available digitally with one bonus track and 2 remixes of The Man.
Hopefully it's cut at different speeds and maybe includes those tracks because there's no need for an extra 12" for only 3 songs.

Looks like Barnes & Noble has some kind of exclusive vinyl for this. It doesn't say yet if it's an exclusive color or just an alternate album cover (like their Ryan Adams Prisoner release). It's out on August 11th.

It looks like there will be an indie exclusive version on coke bottle clear vinyl. I assume it's the same one included in the box set that's offered on the Warner Music website.

Long shot but would anyone with a VMP membership willing to help me get the War On Drugs bundle?
I've currently got an order in just for the new record but the more I think about it, I'd really like Slave Ambient as well. Especially since it's only $10 more than what I'm paying for ADU with shipping.
