Down for these; any word on if the numbers are different for the clear or splatter boxes? And Solitude as well? Really hard to decide which to go for!

And here. We. Go.

Cheers, got one. They did increase prices from $28 to $30 for what it's worth haha.
Yea I saw that too, pretty weird.

It just went back up, so if you missed it, try now, or keep refreshing. Some may have been sitting in carts or they are canceling doubles ect.
Was able to complete my order just now.

Oh yeah, I don't think deluxe boxes are shipping for anyone just yet.

Deluxe Boxset, black.

Still awaiting on this. Weird that Euros got it almost a month earlier so far? Haven't see any email from them either on an update... 😕

.... but I'm surprised you feel that way given you mentioned funeral doom... but the more thought I put into it, maybe it's because they don't seem to hit a lot of peaks/highs/climaxes(?) Like funeral doom is even slower, but it's typically building up to some cathartic moment
I'd say that's a fair assessment. I'd also say I really don't like stoner metal/doom.
A lot of late 00's funeral doom has absolutely crushing climaxes. Ea, Arcana Coelestia, Ahab ect are all great examples. And I love the raw vocals in sludge like Celeste, The Ocean.
I think I need to just revisit the whole discog at this point and see if anything has changed.

Thou is thick and heavy in more ways than one.
Jumping off this to say that I get why people like Thou, but they are just not for me. I should preface and say that sludge has and always will be one of my favorite genres, and I was super into doom in the last 00's/early 10's, but damn I just think they are so boring. Summit and Heather were average at best for me, but everything else has been a snooze fest, and I can't understand why. I suppose I'm more into the atmospheric side of sludge, and the funeral/death side of doom, so it just doesn't click with me?

Stop the regret - We can all reconvene in 2.5 months and agree that the Standard Purple would have been the better choice all along.
For now I'll ride the hype wave and hold out hope that the Silver/Purple diehard somehow comes out feeling "worth" the price.
Not trying to instill buyers remorse! It's just not my cup of tea today. I was so hyped when I saw ERR tweet yesterday about a release, then it happened to be this collab and vinyl mess, I'm just a bit disappointed.

Agreed the price jumps seem dramatic (and unusual for Thou, so I'm guessing SB did the pricing). Also really odd there are no details about what separates the Ultra Die Hard, Die Hard, and Standard editions. It cannot just be variant color, because like you said there is a black standard and a black Die Hard.
The Magus "Die Hard" edition came with some silk or wax outer sleeve sealed with a wax SB stamp, but I don't know if that's all that set it apart and I also don't know what the original prices were on that one.
11 minutes ago, Derek™ said:They’re typically a lot more transparent with their releases and mockups, but historically speaking, “die hard” editions just mean that the record comes wrapped in a custom silkscreen jacket — usually with a variation of the album art — and sealed with a wax stamp. Sometimes additional goodies are thrown in. Over the years they’ve felt less and less “worth it” to me.
Exactly. If there is going to be such a drastic price difference, at lest tell me why and what I'm paying for. If its just the packaging, with no other definitive difference in vinyl, then that is definitely not worth.

Signed variant up. Caved because of this.

TTL came today, and damn it's pretty. Got a huge crease in the cover though. Hoping they can send a replacement.
So they didn't have any cover replacements or extras of any sort, so they gave me shipping refund at least.
Just listened to this and damn, really chill and super catchy. Really digging after first listen. Press is flawless.

I grabbed the DW one because the only copy I have, is from the black friday pressing they did a few years ago but when it came the vinyl was the same, so I got sides A/B on both. So it was easy to pick this up.
Seen a lot of people say this, but mine came fine with A/B and C/D. Very odd.

What's wrong with filth? Also, anything we create is art, whether it's music, a tunnel, or mowing the lawn.

No signed edition this time around? He usually has an art-print or sig to go with most of his vinyl.
I have not been too impressed with the singles so far, so I'll prob hold off on the PO until I hear the whole thing, especially considering there are not special variants.

I’ve got an advance copy of the album and I’ll just say I don’t think I’ll be pre-ordering it, or possibly buying at all
I haven't been excited for a MG album in quite a while after singles and teasers. Don't know what it is, used to be a huge fan, but I've REALLLY cooled on them.

Damn. I have the 2016 repress but I really love the colorway and cover art, and excited it comes with b-sides...

Did you contact customer service? They're usually pretty good about working something out with these kind of situations.
I did, but at this point I don't need two, and still get free shipping on the LP since it was over 30. It's just frustrating that there was no communication and I struggled to find one for a while.
-
So this is back up on BullMoose? And they still won't fulfill my original order with both the 2xlp and the 12". So you would have to purchase it again including shipping if you wanted it from them, instead of the original order? Absolutely laughable.
Glad I was able to grab it from HV, and it came yesterday.
