i personally think the MICF exclusive was the nicest one from that release... haven't had a chance to pick up the s/t one yet, but i'm glad to hear the color matches the cover art. that's kind of one of my pet peaves, and something (not the main thing, but SOMEthing) i've absolutely hated about most of the 198232 remains releases. goddamnit's redux did the same thing, too.

they should only be allowed to press this vinyl on blue and gray

god damnit. i thought it was too good of a story to be true. i'm gonna have to tell my friend now, cause he's been going around telling like everybody since his girl told him. fuck. thanks for looking that up though, +1.

okay, let me preface this by saying my friend told me this story about this girl he's kind of trying to get with's roommate. it was told to him by the girl he's kind of trying to get with. so my friend didn't actually witness any of this, but i trust him, and i actually know the girl he's trying to get with and i trust her, too. either way, there's a good chance this story is made up, so if any of you had heard it before and it's an urban legend, sorry, i'm just repeating something my friend told me.... this girl had a pet snake. it was a boa constrictor, to be exact. she kept it in an aquarium type thing in her room with a caged top on it. one night, while she was sleeping, the snake broke out of the aquarium by popping off the top, and then slid into bed with the girl, laying next to her. the girl woke up a little bit later and the snake was cuddled up next to her. she thought, aww cute, but didn't want to roll over the snake and hurt it or whatever, so she got up and put it back into the cage. next night, same thing happened. same reaction, aww cute, but she put it back into the cage. next night, same thing. next night, same thing. finally, she put a bunch of her textbooks on top of the cage so it wouldn't keep happening. a couple days later, she realized that her snake wasn't eating the food she was putting in the cage with it. awwww, cute, right? the snake is sad that it can't cuddle with her, so it lost it's appetite? that's what she thought, but to be sure, she went to the vet and told him the story of what had been happening lately. he goes "you need to get rid of that snake. NOW." apparently, the snake, by laying down next to her each night, was sizing her up. it realized it was big enough to eat her, so it started starving itself so it could be empty enough to do so. and that's the last time i ever thought snakes were a cool idea as a pet.

okay so i noticed i commented on this last night, too. i went back and watched it again, and it's soooo sad. seriously let's think about this for a second. this is this guy's thought process... i'm gonna impress so many people right now. here's what i need to do first. turn on my computer. find a site where i can download music. download the instrumental version of one of those songs all the kids like. practice making sweet sweet music with my hands. then, after i clean up, i can use those bad boys to 'sing' those songs. once i've practiced them enough, ill go get my video camera and record myself doing it. then i'll upload it onto my computer, edit the video, convert it to a format that i can post on the internet, post it on the internet, and then sit back and wait until all the kids love me. this is gonna be so sweet...

okay here's how i heard about jonbenet..... a bunch of people i know (i'm not sure i would call them 'friends', but i hang out with them a lot based on the fact that i work at my school's student-run radio station and i'm there a lot because i run the sports staff and blah blah blah) were talking about how they like Fear Before the March of Flames and i had heard about them before obviously, but never really HEARD them, so i decided to check them out. i kind of liked them at first, so i went to cdnow.com to see how cheap i could buy their stuff. on cdnow.com, they have those "people who bought this album also bought..." sections, and one of the bands on there was jonbenet, which i thought was a terribly funny and insensitive band name, hoping and praying that it was making fun of that jonbenet ramsey girl and her parents. so i listened to them to see if their music was as good as their name, and it wasn't half bad, either. /scene

seriously keep bumping this thread until morning cause i havea n amazing story to tell you guys regarding snakes and eating but i cant conecntrate enough right now to type it all. you will love/like/hate it.

^^ honestly, some of my favorite type of humor right there, fl1ck3r... when everybody gets it, and they have even laughed already, and you just wait out that long, awkward pause of silence and then explain the joke. i do this almost on a daily basis, and people think i'm actually trying to explain the jokes to them, and it just makes me laugh even harder because i'm really more doing it for me. the fact that they tell me they got the joke makes it funnier to me. i will never stop doing this. you are one of my new heroes. also, i may be slightly drunk. either way, +1.
