im going to that show at the slidebar with broadway calls and cobra skulls but am bummed because heartsounds is opening that BR show. they should just jump over and play the slidebar too.

i almost had enough money to buy the bike i wanted but my student loans started asking to be paid im still trying to save back up for it, i was looking at the novara divano or one of the other novara road bikes (i work at REI so i get super awesome discounts on novara stuff, its our house brand) so im hoping to get it in the next couple months

ive heard only amazing things about this record, i really need to hear it

meh, i have a subscription to AP because there is usually one or two features/stories/oral history etc that i can read a month, and i can agree with the reviews more often than not. the thing i think someone mentioned in this thread is that the bands on the cover are usually the total stereotypical, super pop/emoswoosh haircut bands to sell the magazine, but they always load the insides with good bands. the issue i got today and flipped through had the 100 bands you need to know feature in it and it had a ton of good bands inside. comadre, junior battles, andrew jackson jihad, nightmares for a week, we are the union, the riot before, cheap girls, ruiner, the menzingers, heartsounds, japandroids, title fight, and la dispute were all in it and are all pretty loved by some around these parts. sure they shared the pages with nevershoutnever and some dumb looking band called stereo skyline but if a kid opens that book to find out more about every avenue and ends up listening to title fight out of it, thats pretty cool.

i wouldnt go anywhere near hollywood on sunday, its the oscars and that pretty much screws everything up around there.
