Thanks to all who made recommendations. Amoeba blew my mind. I felt like I was in Disney World. Walked out empty handed, but still a great experience. Record man was also something else. It's organized fairly well, and a huge selection. Unfortunately, 99% of it is flea market quality.

I'll check out the record store behind it. Probably won't find much that I'm looking for, but it's all about the hunt.

I searched a few pages in the record store thread, but didn't see any mentions of stores in the area. Any recommendations? Mostly looking for OOP and rare releases from the 1970's to present. Rock/alternative being the main genre. TIA...

The seller said he would send pictures, and never did. I gave him three weeks, then gave up. I contacted him several times, and finally figured he was a flake and let it go. I wasn't going to pay $200+ for an album without seeing pictures, especially from someone who didn't have feedback. I didn't leave negative feedback because typically, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. He did not contact me at all after saying he would send me pictures. Then he leaves me negative feedback on the last day possible (within the 90 day limit). I would have, and still love to have the album. Just shitty to have to deal with someone like that who screws you after you give them the benefit of the doubt.

Ya know, the response I received was quick from their FB page, which is appreciated. Their irresponsible policies are not. I'm wondering how many dozens, or hundreds of orders they had to cancel. I'll never buy from them again.

Beware of the seller 'motoraway ' on Discogs (no feedback of course). I attempted to contact him multiple times without response. I wanted to see pictures of the album (considering it was a $$$ purchase) and make payment. I waited, and waited, no response. Finally, I just let it go, and did not leave feedback. I just checked and he left me negative feedback for no payment. Assclown of epic proportions.

Yeah, their site has no mention of it, just directs you to Amazon for the regular copies. The Fb link directs you to all the stores nationally that are taking advantage of this. Luckily two are in Portland. Not sure if I want to spend more than $150 on this though.
