  1. Yeah, I'll wait for the next repressing and plunk down $20-30. Fuck this $100 noise...
  2. Do you have another? only release i'm looking for this year...much appreciated.
  3. Agreed. How the mighty have fallen. How can you seriously get excited about this shit?
  4. Agreed. I'd be curious to know what the average % drop is for albums that are in the few hundred dollar range, after the repress happens. I wouldn't think more than 25-35%? I'd assume most people that would buy the original pressings would be more collectors, not just people who have to find a way to listen to it on vinyl. i.e. a casual fan isn't going to plump down $100-200 just to listen to it on vinyl.
  5. Eh, these were super cheap. Stories, Uh Huh Her, and Is this Desire have been hundreds of dollars for years. I certainly paid much more than what they just sold for.
  6. Annnd sold out...Not sure it would have been worth the price with shipping anyway, but still.
  7. Don't get me wrong, Billy's put out some great work. It's just been a very long time since.
  8. It's been two decades since he's released anything worth a damn. *snooze*
  9. Eh, Maynard sold out long ago. Once you have a store dedicated to nothing but kitsch, and autographed material jacked up hundreds of dollars. It's hard not to see him in a hypocritical light after what he wrote early on, then he just became another cog in the music $ystem, taking full advantage of it like anyone else. I say this as someone who loves most of his material, particularly the first few Tool albums.
  10. Ehh, really not seeing much on this list outside of the repress of Harvest Moon. Outside of the U2 issues, there doesn't look to be that many real must haves. Well, I'm sure the Dave Matthews will be jacked up, as usual. U2 isn't my thing, but I'm sure there will be plenty of fanboys lining up...
  11. Eh, strike that. Looks like I can pick it up about the same locally. I can at least pick out a copy that isn't crunched in the mail, and it's less $ going to Amazon.
  12. A great album, for sure, but it's no Trust. I'll grab this if it's still available for one of their sales, but not paying $34 for it.
  13. I hear what you're saying, and we're just appreciating different aspects of a phenomenal band. I'll give Towers more time, it might be more of a grower for me.
  14. Eh...gotta disagree with you hear. I've only listened to it a couple of times so far, but so far Allelujah>>Asunder>>>Luciferian Towers. I'm appreciating their change up, more melody, but am really missing the teeth of their last couple albums. Just listen to 'Mladic' or 'Piss Crowns', then come back and listen to this album. No comparison really. Don't get me wrong, I'm still stoked that they've put this out, and are yet again changing their direction a bit, but in comparison to their other work, it's night and day. Also, side note , but for anyone who hasn't seen them, DO IT. One of the best bands I've ever seen live, without question. There's wall of sound, then there's GSYBE!
  15. Damn! Really liking this on first listen. Can't wait to hear it on vinyl...
  16. I've given up on most festivals (get off of my lawn...) but to see three of my favorites at the same event. Especially to see Yorke on his own...
  17. Has anyone here been to this festival in years past? Was it well ran? I'm assuming most sets were 45+ minutes with the headliners being 90+? Considering this as I just noticed nin was playing it. The chance to see Yorke, nin, and GSYBE all together would be pretty great. Putting up with massive crowds, not so much.
